So I prebought Halo 2, and have been playing it every second that I've had time (which isn't much).

I think I'm ready to take my game up a step and finally use all my free 2/3/5 month x-box live scratch off coupons from all the xbox live games. What hardware do I need to set this bad boy up? Do I need to buy that start up kit with the mic?

Any advice / recommendations will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

All you absolutely NEED for Xbox Live is an Xbox, an Xbox Live account, a broadband internet connection, and game that supports Xbox Live. That being said, communication is pretty important for the objective games in Halo 2, so I feel like a mic is pretty important, but its not absolutely neccessary. I'm sure you can pick one up pretty cheap if you searched around.

I may be mistaken, but I don't believe you can just use all your coupons like that. I think you're only allowed to use one, unless you have different credit cards. Each time you sign up, even with a free card, you have to put your credit card # in, and I don't think you can sign up multiple times with the same credit card. Even if you do have seperate card numbers, it will probably also find a matching address, as the card must match your address. But give it a try, let me know. I'd be curious to see if this works.

You can only use one XBL trial coupon per account, that means you'd have to make a new XBL account altogether after one expired.

you can have 10 accounts under the same credit card.
but you have to register under a new username each time... and you'll lose your buddies list.
