PC hands down. The number one thing about PCs is that they are flexible. You get your chat; your team-speak and the online game play all in one. If you are into a game, you will end up joining their community forums and going to their websites.
While there are allot less titles for PC the online aspect of it blows consoles out of the water. Most PC games are made to be played online. Consoles are still catching up; because of this PC games have a much longer lifespan for me then console games. The longest I ever played a console game was a few months. My longest played PC game was Age of King (3 years), Counter Strike (2 years) and Neocron (1 year). I don’t think any console game will ever last that long for me. Don't get me wrong, there are times when I don't want to play with other people, and that is PCs weakness, there is a serious lack of single player games out there, yet it's not that bad because the few games that are out there cannot be matched on consoles; Sim City and Civilization for example. |
I'd have to say I prefer my PC, mainly because it's more than just a console.
I own a PS2.. and I suppose it's alright. But I want an X-Box. |
PC.
Never can be bothered to buy a console. All the games I play are better on PC anyway (RTS, FPS, MMORPG). |

My PS2 worked fine when dealing with PS2 games. I'll admit, it was a little janky in playing movie DVDs. That could have been rectified by sending it to Sony with the notice that there was a disk read error, which Sony would have fixed. The main reason that never happened is because I'm lazy. I could get into the slew of PC problems we've both had, but I don't have enough hours in the day. |

PC has a have a kick ass motherboard, and Gamecube for the new Zelda once it comes out and for Tales of Syphonia which was a bad ass game but was too easy
|
I would have to say PC. But really, each system has it's pro's and con's. Each system also caters to a diffrent crowd. People are not going to buy and Xbox for Japanese style RPGS. Well, unless they're stupid but that's neither here nor there.

Oh shit, I can burning posts already.
With that said, GameCube then a tie between PC and Xbox and PS2 last. Granted they're all great systems in their own way. |
I have an X-box, Game Cube, and a PC.
I never really wanted a PS2 the graphics were sub par to the others and the hardware just wasnt up to par. Almost every one of my friends that bought the PS2 at launch had the laser in the dvd drive die on them. The Cube really had the games I wanted the most, Zelda, Metroid, and Mario. So thats the first one I went after. |
