Whats the deal with the new Ps2(mini) coming out? I hear its out next week and it will be equipped with a dvd burner,hard drive and an ethernet port.

uh, I could be wrong, but I highly doubt there's a DVD burner in it. Heh.

No DVD burner and certainly no hard drive. The current PS2 hard drives won't even work with it.

Would you be talking about the PsP? it looks like a mini PS2 and will be coming out sometime next year, and it has performances somewhere between a PSX and a PS2; oh well, im happy with my PS2, i don't think i need to carry it around.

I think he is talking about the slimmed down version of the PS2 they are releasing - it is about 75% smaller in volume than the original PS2, is just 2.8 cm thick (the original is 7.8 cm thick), and comes with a built-in Ethernet port for networked gaming. They are still calling it "playstation 2" instead of pstwo like they normally do when they do things like this, and its gonna cost about the same as a normal PS2.
