Why would you ever own more than one copy of a console? Honestly, I don't even think that's cool. What the hell will I do with 70 old-ass NES systems? If there was a complete library of games for those systems I'd care.

There are also five GameCubes and they've probably got a XBox or two stashed in there somewhere.

As to why this is so cool, well there is the sentimental value and the fact that many of those systems have some of the best games ever made.
Just because a game isn't 3d with the best graphics doesn't mean it can't kick some ass. The original Zelda is one of the best games ever made, along with Super Mario 3, and many other games. I can't list any for non-nintendo systems, cause I've never really played any of the other old systems, except for an atari I had before the Nintendo came out.

How about spend 10 bucks to get yourself a NES/SNES/Genisis/whatever, and another 10-20 on a bunch of these awesome games instead of going ape shit?

I'm afraid to say that I've wanted a virtual boy since I played one 8-9 years ago. I rented it from Blockbuster and I've always wanted one just to have.

In the mean time - I'm afraid that I suspect a number of that's stolen, because frankly why else would anyone part with that much stuff for so cheap? I wouldn't be suprised if they had to check it out simply because holy mother of god that's a lot of junk to drop for that low price.

In the mean time, maybe I should check out eBay to fulfill my dirty little dream... heh.
