SOCOM 1: Sniper cross-hair woes

Is there any way, and I mean ANY way, to make it so the sniper cross-hair doesn't move around when you're trying to keep it still? My favorite parts in any warfare game is sniping, and this just totally kills it for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

its realistic...if you've ever shot a rifle in your life you'd know that it is nearly impossible to hold the site perfectly still. Just have to deal with it bro!

When I play a game, i don't care about realism, lol. I'm not about to go sniping people in real life. Plus, in real life, at least you have some control over the jitter-movement; it's not just some random, human-programmed algorithm controlling the gun.
I'm just wondering if there's even an action replay code I can input to get rid of it. I keep playing the second level over and over again, and although I've beaten it, it just doesn't feel right until I can start sniping enemies with one shot. It's just not very gratifying to know that it took you ten shots to finish off your enemy, no matter how hidden you are.

You could go into prone. That puts the jutter down to a minimum.

Well realisticaly, controlled weaving is much better for shooting than random movement of the barrel. Though it tends to be more up and down movement with breathing than a figure 8 weaving pattern. Just learn the pattern and how to line up your shots in the path of the weave, and time your shots!

While I can see what they are trying to do with realism, but at least do it correctly. IF you have ever actually shot a scoped rifle before on a long distance target, even the biggest amatures dont move the crosshairs as much as they do in these games. THey portray these people as navy seals and what not, yet I can hold a gun still better then they can in real life.

If they want realism, make it realistic not some crap a programmer who had MAYBE 1 day at a range in his life determining what is real.
