i have to go with battlezone. though it's 'the first 3d game', i fail to see how it helped future games and i've _never_ heard of it. ever.

Kid Icarus was kinda revolutionary, the virtual tennis is one of the few interesting sport titlees, FFX almost got removed due to it not adding much to the games or genre but the visuals and voice acting alone were enough to, inspire, Tomb Raider was very original and inspired many good games... damn shame the rest of them sucked. wing commander ruled (sorry about post one and this being a little contradictory)....

so many great choices....... too bad we must sacrafice one! harhar
