Gimme my Half-Life 2...DAMMIT
 

Recently, Gabe Butthole over at Valve sent me an email with the subject of STEAM. As i should have, i got all excited expecting HL2 news (reguarding the steam delivery service)

WRONG

basically it appears i havn't used Steam in a month (i wonder why). and it asked me to fill out a little survey explaining why. In the comment box i told them "GIVE ME HALF LIFE 2 or the STEAM GETS IT." :D

Just thought i'd share. Over at planethalflife...they had an interview with mr Butthole(the only reason i call him butthole is because of the empty promises.) He said they expect to ship to vivendi in August. If you can believe that.

Bah, I'd MUCH rather see it late and have all the problems fixed than on time and shitty.

It'll be here soon enough (We hope).

I got that email too today. I listed my reason as "playing other games" but added that I was waiting for HL2 while I play Far Cry :D

I said it was because Steam sucks. Stop teasing me with false Half Life 2 release dates.

If you had read correctly you would see they are shipping a RELEASE CANDIDATE to Videndi.
This is not the gold master.

I can wait for it, because my computer cant handle it anyway. I dont want it to come out till I get a new computer :). Besides you think you have to wait a long time for HL2. Ive been waiting for 7 years for Duke Nukem Forever, and there is still no sign of it coming out.

I have a friend at sierra and he doesn't even know when it's going to be released :(

I STILL have the PC Gamer issue where they FIRST announced it! It was like a 7 page spread of (then) eye candy and promises.

And now.... bollocks

All I can say is that they could take as long as they want, but it better damn well be the greatest game experience I will EVER have in my life.

lol...indeed. then again daikatana looked like it was going to suck from the beginning.

As for DNF...theres no way its going to be anything new... However it would be an interesting mod for half-life 2 and the source code

3drealms' reputation relies on DNF. If DNF is not the most innovative, interactive, and just plain fun game, than 3DR will have some serious problems.
