Devil May Cry 3
 

I don't know about you guys, but I LOVED Devil May Cry. DMC2 sucked, there's no getting around that. I think Capcom is making up for 2 with Devil May Cry 3, however!

This game looks amazing! It's a prequel to Devil May Cry 1. Dante learns his history in DMC3, unleashing his demon powers. I hear Dante is even more of a smartass/badass in DMC3 than in the first one. Not sure how Capcom will pull that off, but I'm all for it! :) One of my gaming magazines says a guy bursts through his office door, lunges a sword into Dante's chest, and asks if he's really a half demon. Dante gets up out of his chair with blood gushing out of his chest, walks over to the Jukebox with the sword still stuck in his chest and plays a metal song. "LET'S ROCK!" You know what happens after that if you've played DMC1.

Now THAT'S the Devil May Cry I wanna see! None of this half-assed crap like 2. I can't wait!!!

This is gonna be awesome as shit. Dante is so cheesy-badass that it makes me giggle like a school girl. And that's a good thing!

DMC2 was all flash and no fun, DMC1 is legendary, BRING BACK THE MEMORABLE SCRIPT AND BOSS BATTLES!!!

Not all the script was memorable especially lines like "TRISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" But still, it was a pretty decent script. And an excellent fuckin' game.

I hope it's better than the crapfests that were 1 & 2.

Blasphemy!!! Part one by no accounts was a crapfest! Part two arguably was though. Ah well, personal opinion...

The fixed camera angles ruined the gameplay experience for me. Dante is a cool character though. I can't wait to see him in Viewtiful Joe 2.

I never had a moment in the game where the fixed camera fucked me over. It's not really fixed, either...it's fully 3D, on top of the fact that it follows Dante around so you can see everything. Some games are ruined by fixed cameras, but certainly not Devil May Cry.

Now, about the second one...ahh who cares, it sucked. That's all anyone needs to know!

Jesus christ DMC1 was hard.

I still haven't beaten it. I'm good at video games, too. I've been playing em since I was 5 or 6, but damn, lemme tell ya, I had a hard time w/ this one.

Each boss was HARD. That damn spider took me HOURS to beat. The dude you fought after that w/ the sword took me ages. The flying bird after that... never beat it.

That was hardcore. Never played 2, but I heard it was short and I heard it was horrible. I'll check it out one day after I beat the first one :P

Yeah, I think Devil May Cry is right behind Ninja Gaiden as being the hardest games I've ever played. I actually think DMC's bosses were a bit tougher than Ninja Gaiden's...it was the regular enemies in NG that slaughtered you!

The only tips I can give is saving up enough to buy the Holy Waters or whatever they were. They do an insane amount of damage to the bosses. That's the only way I beat a few of them...some of them are simply too damn hard. My friends beat it in a single night...but later on told me they played it on Easy. DMC is very easy on the Easy setting and very hard on the Normal setting.

What? Hard? You guys are kidding right? I mean... I thought they were piss easy... On DANTE MUST DIE mode I got my ass whooped but yeah. Hmm interesting...

This happens quite often to me, games I find hard are easy to others and vice versa.

That's weird! Are you sure you played it on Normal? A lot of my friends said they did, but when they loaded it back up, it was actually on Easy. Most of the reviewers mentioned it being hard as fuck too. :) I did beat it, but some bosses took 30+ tries.

I know how ya feel though! A lot of people complain about how hard certain missions are in the GTA games. I find myself owning those missions and getting my ass kicked on the easy ones.

I hope DMC3 is more like DMC1 than the pos that DMC2 is.

Um, it is fixed. If it were fully 3D you would be able to rotate the camera.

"Fixed" means that they don't move. Well, that's how I see it anyway. The camera following Dante would be called a third-person viewpoint. I guess I can see how fixed could mean that you can't move them, but they do move, just not by the player.

Resident Evil is usually fixed with pre-rendered background, DMC has fully 3D environments but you can't freelook since the camera is pre-determined for you.

I love Devil May Cry. I think is the best action game ever. Part 2 is pretty good game except that the game is just too damn easy!! even the hard mode is too damn easy.....

Well the trailer seemse to be awesome but it focused a lot on the ingame movies and too little on actual gameplay.. we'll just have to wait and see...

Well, I think the shots were taken from an early development part, so the focus was probably mostly on what they had, that being the movies. But what do I know, I'm just an actor.
