For those of us that like oldschool gaming...

Fileplanet is giving away Tribes 2!

This game is timeless. I winced calling it old school.

Yeah, they're giving it away, but they're out of keys. So not that useful.

Edit: Reading this again, I was really a jackass. I'm sorry Fenton, I didn't mean to belittle your information. I was pissed at FilePlanet, not you.

Fenton-J-Cool 05-06-2004 12:45 PM

I really should have thought of posting it here yesterday.

Thats awesome, maybe I'll reinstall that once badass #1 fav team game I ever played again.

I own 2 copies of it cuz i literally out-played my one cdrom.

fuckers ran out of keys.. retarded to promise "Free download of Tribes 2" if you only have keys for people who pay or for like 5 others. Another reason fileplanet blows balls

They're out of keys? I'm sorry but that simply cannot be true. File planet is hosting, but even the Tribes Main site alerts you to the offer on File Planet. If it tells you that they are out of keys, then you should take a screenshot of it, and email it to the Tribes main server along with the deal saying you'll get a CD-Key. I'm thinking that you just might get your CD-Key that is supposed 'run out.' I doubt you'll have problems. If you do, then show the email up on here as I doubt they'd turn you down a CD-KEY to a game they're giving out for free....

Hm, if they're giving it away and you use a Keygen, is it considered a pirated copy?

yes. it's a stolen key.

I'm going to say no on the grounds that a game is clearly abandonware when it is offered for free.

abandonware if free? hmm what about AA, or ET..

But KeyGen could generate a key that someone paid for. Therefore you would be stealing from them, not from Vivendi.
