Ive heard that this game is essentially remakes of previous levels. Is it worth gettin??

it's fun though, but wait for a price drop... ESPECIALLY if you've played the last two

There ARE new levels, and they ARE great. But most of them are remakes of levels from the first game. Great if you have never played the first game, not great if you haven't.
I haven't gotten to the old levels yet, but the ones that I have played have been great. The meat king's party and the mansion were both really really well done.

Traditions of the Trade got butchered IMO

Why would they remake levels from the first? Surely they know that any fan of the series loves the first game, in spite of its apparent flaws? There's enough fan hyperbole out there for that to be obvious. This franchise needs a serious restart.

I only played Hitman 2, but I don't buy games till they drop to 30 bucks... (still waiting to try out Halo, damn things been at 50 bucks forever)

Y'know, I just finished playing "Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow." Then I tried the demo of Hitman: Contracts, and I gotta say; what a bloody let down.

To compare the two "Stealth Action" games maybe unfair, but SC:PT is far superior. Hitman just seemed sooo dull, and I really liked Hitman 2.

Haha, yeah HITMAN has got nothing on SC is terms of stealth but it's still a cool game, got my copy last night, pretty grim and gruesome especially when Spoiler: 47 gets shot in the head point blank!

I thought it was good, only real downside was the on-par graphics (just nothing eye popping and a few gaphs).

Otherwise, levels were fun, but I'd say it's definitely a renter.

They sell them in ri for $30. Have for like 3 or 4 months at least.

Spoiler: That's just one of the copies from Hitman 2... not the real 47... but he does get shot in the stomach

played the first three levels of the original game until I was stuck in the jungle level and dropped it, and never have seen the first sequel. If it works on my AIW 7500 then I would at least consider buying this new one. Not upgrading my video card for anything out there now though as it would do nothing for the audio work and web design stuff that hold far more interest for me.

stopped playing it after hitman 1 , the first was refreshing new .. now all seems so used
