If anyone still MUDs, the one I'm on could use some more players..
Heya everyone.
I started MUDding in high school, and find it be to the only game that I have come back to at some point consistently to this date. I've been playing on the same one since I found out about MUDding back in "the day" and after trying out others, I'm really impressed with it, and enjoy it a lot. Lately, it has lost a lot of players due to various circumstances, and I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that still MUDs, and if there are, if you are interested in checking out another MUD? I play on NetherWorld. It has a great remort/reincarnate system as well as a Questmaster, and is just generally a really cool place, with lots to do. The only problem is, it doesn't have many players lately, and I'd really like to see the playerbase increase, because that would add so much fun for everyone. I see it as the MUD having a solid structure and foundation, but it really needs more players to be great again.. I was thinking there might be a few people out there that still MUDded and might be interested in checking out NetherWorld. Granted, there are graphical games, and lots of other distractions on the Internet lately, but I still find MUDding pretty addicting and fun. If you think you might be interested, I urge you to check out a great introductory site created by one of the veteran players. That site is, Salizan's Newbie Guide for NetherWorld. If you want to connect directly to the MUD and stop by, you can check it out at: telmaron.com port: 3666. Thanks, and if you stop by, give it a chance and ask for help. There are a lot of helpful people there, but we certainly would love to have more. Take care, Bonell (the character I play lately)

A MUD I play a lot is the Discworld MUD.

Lack of players has pretty much killed my favourite MUD, but it'd be a thread hijack if I posted the link herTHREAD HIJACK galacticrising.wolfpaw.net:1600

Played on it a little, up to lvl 10. Saw a few folks. Pretty weird since my background is solely DIKU, but I got into it pretty quick. I don't like being limited to a solo character though. I like having a cleric tagging along to save my ass.
