Xbox Modchips
Hey. I have a friend who has Xbox with a mod chip in it and he can play all SNES games, all NES games and he can 'burn' games to his HD.
Does anybody have experience with this? I'm looking to pick up the same thing as he has. |
This isn't really the best forum to ask these kind of questions...

I got mine modded. My friend did it for me for free.

stop over-reacting. we don't know if the guy has the games and is using back up copies or not. he may own every game he is playing on the xbox. anyway, I don't have much experience with this, but I hear it's quite simple once you get everything working. I suggest this place: http://www.modchipstore.com/ The actual installations of some of the chips are hard, you have to solder and the like. However, you can actually order a CD that will allow you to do similar operations as with a mod chip. Play backed up SNES and NES games though? Not sure. |
Once the chip is there its a breeze, I use mine as a media center, emulation (n64, psx, snes, gba, mame) and it makes for one hell of a console! I am a damn happy xbox owner.
