PC Game Question
Hey, I know there is a program or a trick or something so I do not have to insert the cd every time I want to play the game. If anyone can help me out here Id appreciate it.
|
Which game? There are ways to edit the game files so you can play the game from your harddrive, but in turn it will require more harddrive space be used. Try a google search, there are tons of sites that have stuff that lets you do just that for certain games.

Battlefield 1942
|
Well if you legitimately own the game you could look for a "no cd crack" but you have to find the crack for the version of BF1942 you have. I've done it once but got a headache trying to get it to work so now i just swap out CDs when I'm told.
|
Yes, I just purchased the game today at Best Buy for $30 with an expansion pack. I tried looking for a crack but cant seem to find one.
|
Ok, correction on that, I found a no cd crack but I cannot use it for the updated version, I would have to go back to the old one if I want no cd. It could be an even trade off.

We had this discussion last week. And it was closed because this is illegal.
People who don't own a game can install someone else's copy and put the crack on. |
well I suppose there is no way of proving that I did buy the game, and I cant stop anybody who did steal a game from reading this thread. I just found it annoying always having to insert the cd and wondering what ways there was around it.
|
i can stop em though.. :)
Closed for obvious reasons. *waves to the crusaders of CDKEY information for all* |
