Urban Terror on RTCW:ET
 

Urban Terror is a total conversion for Quake 3. And a realy nice one! But you still have to own Quake 3.
Not long anymore...
Silicon Ice (developers of Urban Terror) has announced to port Urban Terror from Quake 3 to Return To Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, Activision's free multiplayer version of RTCW (click on Enemy Territory). Development was halted on RTCW: ET because time and money, but what was finished was released for free (a fun MP game!)
A couple weeks ago, Activision released their source-code for RTCW: ET giving modders al over the world a chance to make mods for a free high-end multiplayer platform.

This looks like fun!!

makes you wonder how many games will come out "free" under the ET engine....and seeing as the source code has been released, how long for ET cheats to come out...

Et was good..I thought Urban Terror was a UT mod?

Ubran Terror was a Action Quake 2 type mod for Q3 which was more TP oriented. One of the first fun mods other than Rocket Arena for Q3 to come out.

Somehow tho realisim mods for Q3 dont feel right.

I know how you feel, the Q3 engine always feels slightly arcady to me. The only realism mods (REAL realism mods, not pseudo-realistic mods like CS and DoD) I ever liked were on the Unreal engine.
