Metal Gear Solid : The Twin Snakes - 27 Minute Trailer
 

Konami recently released a 27 minute long trailer for their upcoming GameCube remake of Metal Gear Solid 1. The graphics have been dramatically improved from the PSX original, and the cut scenes have been extended, with gory, over-the-top, Matrix-like fight sequences.

The trailer is full of spoilers, so if you haven't played the original, be forewarned.

It's been out for a while. I get chill bumps every 30 seconds in that video. I LOVE the way Snake runs from the thousands of slugs fired at him from Vulcan Raven's minigun - and even better, the extreme badassedness of Ninja. Him swinging that sword and flipping around made me cheer out loud.

yeah that trailer is fuckin amazing, I love all the over-the-top shit that's in there. It almost feels better than watching the original.

interesting. I don't know if I will purchase this game, but it will have to really wow me besides flashy special effects and cut scenes.

The plot and characters are already established. If you've played the first one, then you know that it has much more than graphics and cut scenes. :)

I'm getting this error: "The source filter for this file could not be loaded." from wmplayer everytime I try and view the file. I know not one thing about this bit 'o software. Can anybody help me out? thanks in advance.

I have DivX and I've tried it on that and it gives me an error and I've tried it with every media player I have and each one gives me an error as well.

Go to www.ausgamers.com and download the file from there, it isn't streaming like the link above.

if you have problems playing it, just go and download Winamp 5.. it has everything you need. :)

wow divx and winamp to play an asx file, my advice would be to go download a new version of windows media player, and if that doesnt work then maybe check doom9.org or another such site and see if theres any ASX codecs you need.

as for the trailer this game looks like it will kick major ass and i cannot wait to get my hands on a copy of it
