I was wondering how many of us TFP'ers are CS'ers! Heck maybe we play with each other all the time without even knowing it.

Anyway, my cs handle is DEUS|Cookiemonster and my clan is CAL-im, how about you?

Dont play in leagues...CS is jsut for fun...its all about TFC

The few times I play, I use the same nick as here... it is ubiquitous.

Never played in an organized league or a clan. Dont intend to, I spend less than an hour a month gaming.

My experiences with counterstrike leagues (i was in o and im) show that its mostly comprised of underage gamers with no actual intelligence whatsoever. They have no respect for competition, or other teams competing. I have long since switched over to Enemy Territory, although recently some clans have begun the ranting that i hated about cs, mostly it is comprised of more mature gamers with a respect for teamwork and competition.

BTW, i played with SoLid, x[d], and a short spat with a im team that i dont remember, it was a long time ago. it might have been Kung Fu.

Ah, good old counterstrike. I dont think I have played it since the beta days, and I certainly don't remember what my handle was. Oh well. Anyone else here around to play it when the first alphas came out?

same here, sailor420. i started losing interest around the time of the version 1 release. and now this steam crap won't run on my computer, so i have no choice but to not play.

I gave ET a shot, but I just couldn't get into it. Didn't like B1942 either. CS will always be my game.

I never understood why so many people hate steam... it auto updates, no waiting in lines to download updates from fileplanet and stuff, constant updates for glitches and whatnots. It work on all my friends computers also! my handle is rApT0r and i was in cal-o, im looking for a new clan now. been playing for 4 years

The problem I have with Steam is that it doesn't run on my computer. I can play CS just fine but when I try running Steam, things go downhill.
But when I used to play, I went by the same nick I use here.

i have to restart at least 6 times before i can get it to start up without some kind of error.

Seriously, it was a great game, but the cheating and tk'ing got out of hand.

I think alot of the CS players have gone over to Enema Territory or are waiting for HL2...

i have a CS clan and play scrims, but im not in any leagues because of the poor conection we have here, i just play scrims in LAN, its pretty fun though
