The castle - flash game
This is a nice and addictive game. I just spent 30 mins playing the damn thing and I forgot to note my score. Well give it a go and tell me what you think and what your score is.

Thanks for killing my productivity :D
Managed to survive up the stage where giants start attacking my castle. Final score: 142340 |
Ok gave it another go got bored after level 26 and score of 2062080. Come on beat that score, give me something to aim for.

A tide of 1223 men broke against the walls of my fortress before we were defeated. A phalanx of archers, craftsmen and suicide bombers were alas unable to defend against the onslaught of the giants.
Final score: 123940. I didn't get that you could convert them at first, otherwise i would have been doing that from the beginning. Does anyone else think this game would be cool done with 3D characters that have proper ragdoll physics so they bounce and roll and stuff? Not necessarily changing the perspective, but just giving it that atmospheric boost. |
Damn, that's an addictive game. My score sucked, but I blame Mr. Jose Cuervo. lol.

must...not..play..game.. NO!

how the hell can you stop the engine from killling off your stockpile of archers/wizards/builders??? At level 13 when the big sticks show, I had 20 archers, 8 wizards and 5 builders ready from 12. Nothing touched the castle on that level either, but at the end of the level during point calculation, it killed off everyone???? I had the points from killings to support the cost of the men too. Just pissed me off.
Not to mention you can only convert one at a time in the church, and takes forver. |
Agave - have lots more wizards then you can cast a spell to convert more people. Also the reason you lost men was because you didn't have the money to pay for them.
|
actually that happened to me on my second go. I had the archers, the wizards, the builders, and i repelled the onslaught with ease. i finsh the level, all my archers get bumped off along with one of my wizards. well no wonder i fucking lost, thanks guys.

That game is so fun. Thanks a ton!

that was rather addictive and figuring out you can toss the people for the first time was a glorious time

Journal Entry of King Pell IV:
Dawn will mark the 25th day of the savages seige upon our castle. Despite reenforcing our walls to over 90,000 stone, I fear it will be our last. Estimates of our scouts tell of over 7,500of the savages bodies littering our fields, but there numbers seem infinite. Their sapers, while a boon at first, are sure to be our downfall in the coming days. Thanks for bringing my attention to an awesome little game here. I, too, had the inexplicable loss of archers and mages around day 18, despite more than enough spendables to pay for them. Also, my cursor disappeared twice, which made for a frantic couple of minutes. Around level 18 I had to turn the quality down, to keep the speed up at a challenging level, there was just so much going on on the screen. Final score was:1,390,310 |
Yeah, I got up to level 30 or so, enough archers, wizards and builders to make the game more or less run itself with the occasional nuke from me. Then I got tired, as it never changes again. I wonder if my cookie is still stored...
|
Ouch, my arm is tired...
Stage 32 3,081000 + points. still going... I wonder what it would be like to play without archers, only wizards and builders? |
at level 8 i was able to let the game run on itself, the engineers are quite fast in rebuilding. just mass archers and wait :o
|
i got up to level 20 something. pretty boring after awhile.
