Can you name this old drag car game?
 

Basically you can customize everything in this racing game, from what car you have down to boring out the cylinders... It can show you graphs of your torque and power..

It's an oldy I'm seeking for a friend, he's completely into these car racing games and he was speaking to me about street rod and I said oh is it that game where you can .. blah blah blah.. and then he's like nooo but I want that! lol

So it's prolly abandonware now.. so if anyone can help me out, it'd be greatly appreciated :)

hrm, I thought I knew exactly what you were talking about, but after a bit of searching I was thinking of street rod 2. Couple of questions- Were they modern cars? Do you have even a rough est. on what year it was? How many strips could you race? I'm assuming it's VGA, is that correct?

yeah VGA I think, around the street rod period, had two strips and I think it was just the drag cars you could race..
