1) What do you like about the game?
Everything. Setting, awesome 80's feel, voice characterizations, plot, pacing, humour, attitude, look, cars, combat, missions, music, music, music. Hell, I'm hard pressed to find something I didn't like about the game, and I NEVER say that. 2) whats your favorite mission? I liked the Phil missions. They were funny. The "Martha" mission had me dying laughing too. 3) Whats your favorite vehicle?.... Angel. I'm a biker at heart. 4) whats your favorite weapon? Magnum. |

yes, this game is just phenomenal.
there´s SO MUCH to do... and the fact that you (i) never ever get bored of it makes it the best game ever imo. my fav mission... probably the very last one... it took me ages to finish. i mean it took weeks. of intermitent playing to get passed that one. fav vehicle, well thats a tough question. i guess for general game play i gotta go with the sports bike. its the fastest bike, and i dig the speed. but i also love the Hunter. what could be better than getting around in an Apache War Helicopter with unlimited machine guns and rockets?? the variety of vehicles in Vice City is one of the biggest draw cards for me. i mean, unlike GTA3, where i just found the Cop Car / or the FBI car just the best for everything, Vice City vehicles are better for different things. fav weapon... well the Python is gold. so powerful, so easy with auto-aim... i´ve always been a big fan of the rocket-launcher, but recently the mini-gun has been fun. fav non-ballistic weapon is easily the chain-saw... especially when you stand over a body and drive it into the corpse... fantastic...

There are two major, major attributes about Vice City that make it a nearly perfect game: the extremely non-linear ways in which missions can be finished, and the plot/characters. For example, in one mission, you have to rescue Lance from the bad guys in a junkyard. My brother rammed a car into the cars blocking the entrance but bailed out right before it hit. It destroyed both cars and killed the guards there. Then he ran inside with the AK-47 I believe (the first person rifle) and took everyone else out. It took a few tries (ok, 10) but it did work.
My friend did this mission the same way, except he blew up the cars in the front first with grenades, then drove inside and killed everyone with a gun. I went and got the garbage truck and drove it through the cars in the beginning, killing both guards. I parked the garbage truck beside Lance, rescued him, and both of us drove out of the junkyard with dozens of guys shooting at us. By the time I made it to the hospital to fix up Lance, three tires were blown out on the garbage truck and a literal dozen of enemy vehicles were chasing me. You can finish any mission in nearly anyway you want to, and that's what makes the GTA series so fucking awesome. On top of that, the voice acting is most excellent (better than a lot of movies) and the plots are always top-notch. Nothing beats Tommy's drug-runner in the factory after getting beat up by Sonny's men. Tommy finding out about it. The drug operator says, "Tommy, rip him a new asshole for me!" Tommy Vercetti turns around with a handgun, and storms off screaming "I'M GONNA RIP HIM TWO!" I think he might be the biggest videogame badass ever. My favorite mission? Hell, I liked all of them. My favorite weapon? Umm, whatever I had at the time. ![]() Rockstar knows what the hell they're doing. I would honestly love to have another game with Tommy Vercetti. He's one of my favorite videogame characters ever. If Rockstar simply changes the plot for the next GTA game and leaves EVERYTHING else the same, I guarantee it will be a hit just as 3 and Vice City were. -Lasereth

My favorite mission would have to be the assasination mission AUTOCIDE. Where you have to kill the five groups of people there to rob the bank. They are either their on vacation or working jobs and you have to go around town killing them on a time limit.
My favorite car would be the Hotring Racer. Sucker accelerates fast and has good handling. The Zebra Cab a close second because you can jump it after doing the cab mission 100 times. My favorite weapon would be the Uzi or H&K Mp5. My favorite commercial was the Rusty Browns Ring Donuts commercial. And I really liked VCPR on the radio. |

What do i like about the game? - Uh, everything? Probably the story line the best, and the ending mission with the scarface feel is the ultimate!
My favorite mission? - Either the end mission, where you defend your mansion, Scarface style, or the Missions at the malibu club, where you are settung up the bank heist, and then doing the actual bank heist was killer My favorite vehicle? - probably the ice cream truck, cuz thethings on the top look like boobs, and i like boobs, and i like ice cream, and they make a good combo My favorite weapon? - the chainsaw? the bloody fury of fury? OH YES! FEAR IT! |

I played it on PS2. I had no qualms with the graphics or control. I've played the PC version, and while aiming is much better, the vehicles control like hammered shit.

I've have both for PS2 and PC, but i'm probably gonna sell my ps2 unless they stop making games for computers, this just addicts me so much more. I like the PC version better because you can mod it.
My favorite car? Coca Cola Truck ![]() Weapon? Laser sniper in really slow motion. |

1) What do you like about the game?
The realization of a full cityscape. The way you can be driving across the bridge from Prawn Island to Downtown, look up and literally see a highrise skyline. Sure they're just big cartoon blocks, but it's a frikkin skyline and it's not a fake backdrop skyline either, you can drive through it. Or the amazing little touches like the skater at the beach trying to skate on sand ( ![]() 2) What is your favourite mission? Rescuing Lance. That mission had a lot of different variations. My favourite one was rigging a fast car with explosives, jumping out the moving car halfway down the street and pressing the detonator as it rolled into the barricade. I felt like a terrorist in Beirut. ![]() 3) What is your favourite vehicle? For style and handling, I'm a fan of the Stinger - a good old Miami Vice Ferrari Daytona. I despise the Landstalker, but It's a parody of a top heavy SUV. I wish you could hack the game so the FBI would have to drive that POS instead of their hopped up Ranchers. 4) What is your favourite weapon? The Python will always have special place in my heart but the spaz shotgun is a fine weapon too. |

It's been about 6 months since I last played VC. I never managed to finish the game, but I did make it to 88% with only side missions and such left to do.
![]() I love everything about the game. I liked GTA3 too. Awesome fucking style of games. I don't think I've ever liked any other kind of style as much as GTA. My favorite mission... probably the one where I have to steal a tank. First time I ever attained and escaped a 6-star wanted rating! ![]() Favorite vehicle... oh... Cheetah or Hotring Racer. The Comet rocked too. Favorite weapon... hands down, the python. The rocket launcher takes a close second though. ![]()

My favorite mission...hmm, that's tought. I like the assassination payphone missions a lot. The vigilante missions are cool too. But overall, I think my favorite mission is a tie between "The Job" and any mission where I have to chase someone down and kill them. My favorite vehicle is definitely the PCJ bike. The stunts are crazy. Favorite weapon? Probably the Mac10 or the minigun. The minigun kicks crazy amounts of ass. |

No, they're two different games.
