Vice City Side Missions

Ambulence Missions
Vigilante Missions
FireTruck Missions
Pizza Delivery Missions
Taxi Missions
Cherry Popper Missions

Did I miss any?

I believe I heard that the first 4 give you special bonuses when you finish them. Well, How many do I have to do in order to get those bonuses? Aside from money do I get benefits from the Taxi and Cherry Popper Fares?

Thanx for your help, almighty Vice City Gurus.

I forget what the Cherry Popper missions do, but 100 Taxi fares gives cabs the ability to jump, IIRC.

i know its not specifically a side mission... but i´ve recently found out the importance of finding all of the hidden packages.
great little (or big) extras there.

what about the stadium missions... ie, the Dirt Bike/Speedway/Demolition Derby extras.
for those you have to just walk into the stadium when the door opens up on the top level. (it only opens at a certain time of the day - when exactly escapes my memory).

No, the stadium missions are just money makers and ways to pass the night. You didn't list the RC toy missions, or the dirt racetrack missions, or the racing missions you get in the car dealership, but then none of those give a bonus. But neither does Cherry Popper. All CP does is get you the asset.

Ambulance gives you 200 health(or is it run forever?), and I think there are 11 or 12 levels. Fire makes you fireproof(tho not explosion proof) and there are a similar number. Vigilante...I forget. Armor to 200, probably. I guess Pizza does whichever ambulance doesn't. You have to get 100 total fares for taxi, but not at once, thank god. So I'd log about 10-20, get tired of it, and go kill people for a while. The jumping taxis RULE, for a while I didn't drive anything else(and with the Zebra Cab, you've got decent speed and handling.) Nothing is more satisfying than getting a wanted level, having a cop chase you and one coming head-on, and jumping the oncoming one to hear the cops smash into each other. Man, I miss that game.

I just found new incentive to finish all those side missions!

I had called it quits with the main missions.

oh, just though of the variation on Vigilante...

do it in the Hunter (the Apache helicopter), and its called ´Brown Thunder´ (usually stolen from the Barracks).

no difference to the normal vigilante missions as far as i can tell, though it is easier when you´ve got unlimited rockets and machine guns.

The real bonus to completing all the side missions is getting a 100% on game completion. Get that and you get another costume change (in the mansion), three bodyguards (also in the mansion) and the knowledge that you rock hard.

Hey! Don't forget the shooting range mission! Get a certain score in the time alloted and you get faster reloads. It's tough though.

Walk into the back, though as I recall you have to finish a certain mission first(it's a side mission with the guy in the junkyard, with the guns, etc, what's his name, he's in GTA3).

There's actually two missions in the shooting range. The first is part of the Malibu Club missions, and once you beat that, you can do the second one to get fast reload.

Yes. Unlimited Rockets & Machine Guns Help Greatly.
Also, I think you get partially repaired with each phase of the mission you complete -- so if you're careful, it's pretty easy.

Vigilante missions are pretty easy in the Rhino, too. Each completed stadium mission gives you a car parked to the left of the stairs/entrance to the stadium. To get the fast reload you have to keep shooting the 3 point target; shooting the two and one point targets just waste ammo. There's also the 4 timed helicopter checkpoint races that don't give you anything but cash.

This is a great game in all respects except one. During some rampages it tends to make your guy want to kick the dead guy instead of swiping the sword at the other three guys who are shooting you full of holes at arm's length. A way to make these difficult rampages (samurai sword, grenades) easier is to get the Rhino, drive to the rampage thingy, get out and walk through it to start the rampage, get back in the Rhino. Running over gang members won't count, but, if you shoot the wall a bunch of gang members are standing near, the concussion of the blast will liquefy them and that will count. Shooting passerby vehicles and catching gang members in the blast works too.

The hardest side missions I found were the Race at the Malibu club and the PSJ madness one where you have 2 minutes to get all the checkpoints.

I think the stadium missions give you access to Stockcars? and its only open from 9pm to 1am I think.
The cherry popper mission only gives you the asset when you have 50 customers. The Pizza mission gives you 150 health, the vigilante mission gives you 150 armour, ambulance gives you unlimited stamina, the rifle range makes reloading super fast,
and each one gives you new stuff in your mansion I think.

Search "Vice City hints" on google. There are several sites that offer complete scripted walkthroughs. Kind of scary actually.

Yeah, totally. Once you start attracting the military with their Rhinos, they'll actually take care of some of the people you are chasing. I can't remember how many guys I was credited with killing, but I barely had to do any of the work. Gotta love the Vice City military.

Ha ha, an easy way to get money without cheating is the Final Race at one of your garages. It's the one near the airport, I believe. You know, where you get the Super-CRX that has a spoiler, and you can store like 10 cars in the garages off to the side. Anyway, you can do those races there on the wall, and I always take a Comet into it. I literally did that race until I could beat it without hitting ONE vehicle or sign/obstacle throughout the entire race. It's basically a race throughout the entirety of Vice City. It's pretty long, but fun as hell, and you also get like $100,000 for winning it.
