The Road Rash Post

I've been playing a lot of old Sega MegaDrive games lately, or Genesis to you guys in the States, and I think a Road Rash game should be made for todays consoles. It's a simple, but brilliant game which NEEDS to be brought to a new-age console for better graphics, game play and better controls.
So I put it to you TFP, Would you buy a new Road Rash game?

PS: I'm aware of Road Rash Jailbreak (which I think  was for the PS2 when the console first appeared), but this was merely bland attempt, WE NEED A GOOD ONE! :D

Yeah I'd go for that.

Loved the games on the Mega Drive and definatly feel it was one series EA made a mistake to drop.

Never heard of a PS2 version though, must have been crap lol.

Road Rash 2 was one of my alltime favorite games, my brother and I played that for hours. Good times good times.

played one on the PC ages ago at a friends house.. wasn't too exciting for me..

The N64 one wasn't too bad...was fun to ride around and smash things.

They're also making a new one with the Jailbreak name, but for the GBA...This says it was released on the 1st...but I dunno...

I could go for a new Road Rash game, but I bought Road Rash 3D on Playstation and it was terrible... not even comparable to regular Road Rash on playstation or the series on Genesis.

Skitchin' was a great game too, I think that could convert to a next-gen console extremely well.

Yeah I had the N64 one, some great weapons in that game, sledge hammers, tazers, num-chuks, now THATS a game! :D

Keep these posts coming guys, it's great to know a lot of people liked the Road Rash series.

Road Rash was like the original game to play at a party, least for me. That game ruled my Genesis forever!

They definitely need to make one of them for Nex-Gen gameing systems.

Road Rash II on Genesis did rule. The 2-player split-screen was kinda crappy though...too small.

I have Road Rash 3-D on Playstation.
It's big problem was Load-Times
it was one massive city, and it got real repetitive

stinkynutz 08-14-2003 10:59 AM

road rash on genesis was bad ass

road rash 3d on ps1 kinda sucked

Dibbler 08-15-2003 09:55 AM

Anybody played it on 3DO? I remember that game being pretty cool but set the thing up a couple of months ago and found that my memories were much better than the game itself. Pretty crappy compared to todays games.

I'd buy a new one if it got good reviews...
