Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together is an almost flawless SRPG remake of one of the deepest/biggest SNES cartridge of its time in '93 but was never released in the US.

In '95 it was ported to the PSX. The port was good and pretty well done but had some major flaws like loading time and lag in arrows and spells. It was also very hard to level up due to a very retarded system where you basically have to train against your own people and its just a hassle. You also got exp for every action you make and can be very difficult for low levels to do much.

The PSP remade it in Feb. and it is awesome as hell. Load times are pretty much nil and the lag has been remove. It is also far easier now due to a more forgiving system and a counter when you die. The story is the same but told better and the leveling system is far different. Now you get the same ammount of exp if you kill a boss or every enemy and the exp is shared fairly equally. If you have a level 20 ninja and recruit a new person you can turn them into a level 20 ninja as well, provided you have the correct regeants. To change class you need a class mark. The common marks can be bought and/or dropped from enemies.

There are three other major changes. The Chariot system lets you rewind back up to 50 moves and you can use it countless times per battle. ABusing this takes almost all of the challenge out of the game.

One other change is The World Tarot system. When you finish the game it lets you go back to any pivitul fight to redo choices and see different story-lines. Its pure awesome.

The last major change I can remember is skills. Unlike the original you can built up skil points like in FFT to make your troops much, much more powerful. It adds a lot to the game in my opinion.

I am also playing Assassin's Creed 2: Brotherhood. Its more of the same as the original sequel but still very fun and well done. If you kin of liked the original AC but was very let down like myself then you will probably love AC2 AND AC2:B.

I am too tired to go into detail but I assure you its a terrific action and Prince of Persia type of platforming awesomeness.

Braid and LIMBO were half off this week so I finally bought them. Braid js a VERY well done game that looks like Mario at first glance but is incredibly deep. You can always make yourself go back in time; not just to save your ass but to accomplish brain exploding puzzles.

LIMBO is a veeeeeeeery dark game where you play as a small child in search of (I think) his sister through a very hellish landscape of booby traps, killer giant spiders, bear traps and more.

As I said on Facebook I never imagined making a young child fall onto a bear trap or table saw could be so fun.
