Beating FFX was extremely easy, yet there doesn't seem to be anyone here who actually beat it. Games I didn't pass... Brave Fencer Musashi, Fallout 1 & 2, Morrowind... thats it. I usually keep playing a game until I beat it or I just really, *really* done care at all anymore. Takes a while for me to get to that point.

Zelda: Windwaker - Just didn't have time to play for a week or so, and never went back to it. Someday I will finish it!
GTA:Vice City - Waiting till I can afford the PC version and play with a mouse and keyboard. Sniping with a joystick is just not fun at all. Eternal Darkness - Same as Zelda... put it down.. never went back.. Neverwinter Nights - Just lost interest after a while. Didn't pull me in the same as Baldur's Gate did. Would like to see the whole story someday though... Metroid Prime - Once again... put it down.. never went back...

I'm hoping I'll get a chance to finally finish FFX soon, I rented it when my old roommate had a PS2, but I didn't have time to finish it, plus I was getting kinda sick of it. We don't live together anymore, but now that I'm immobilized with a hernia, he's going to lend it to me and I think my save is still on his card. I'm hoping to give Xenosaga a try, and I might dust off my old copy of Chrono Cross, I got stuck at some guy in the middle (Miguel?) and got tired of trying.

Good news all!
I finally stopped being lazy and have started to finish FFX! I level up my characters, or sphered up should I say, yesterday and beat a boss, I tried my luck against Yunalesca but I lost, I need to recharge my aeons Overdrives and just take her out like that.

I never could kill the last boss at the end of Jet Force Gemini for the N64. Then my comp died taking my Neverwinter Nights save game with it. And before both of those, I never finished Zelda: Link's Awakening on the gameboy. And many, many others. I just suck at videogames, for the most part.

Shinobi Revenge Of The Ninja Master.
Was my absolute favourite on the Sega Genesis, but alas, 'twas too hard for me when I always got to the last level with only 2/3 lives left...but I intend to get a new Genesis, and the game in question. Oh and there's that alternate ending in Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, the on where you have to finish Ganon (except for the final blow) with only normal arrows. I've never done it, cos when he smashes those pillars arrow don't always come out. Bugger!

I want to finish Tomb Raider : The Last Revelation. Played that one for months on end whenever I had some free time, but I need to get back to it. I'm still stuck trying to get the detenator and codes from the one soldier so I can get the truck and kill the dragon.

ROFLMAO! That thing was too easy! I got it first or second try. Tidus had the EASIEST weapon to get. I have alll the Ult weapons but only Tidus', Yuna's, and Auron's and full power. The other characters I don't use as much. And I COULD beat up sin right now probably cuz I have all my aeons and overdrives (cept Blitz Ace but I gotta be close) I'm still running around Omega ruins killing stuff, and working on Wakka's World Champ to get it maxed. But I'm close, ever so close. I've played for 15 hours like in the last week.

Reminds me that I was stuck at the very end of Gauntlet IV on the Genesis; that last castle is bloody impossible to advance on! There are no doors, only stairs. The stairs lead to more floors. These more floors ultimately lead to previous floors. I've still got the password for the level, but I can't be arsed to finish it. As far as I'm concerned, I clocked the game.

I finished Fallout, and Fallout Tactics, but never finished Fallout 2. I purposely never used any of the many cheat utils around because I wanted to do it myself. I just never got the right character down. I'll do it someday.

well for me it would have to be that Blasto game for PSOne, cause I've beaten most games that I really wanted to since then, but that damn end boss was a BITCH, it took me forever to kill that huge robot bitch, and then his damn head came off and was all over me, there was no way.
And I don't know if anyone else has EVER heard of this game, but my dad got really pissed at Fade to Black, and I have to agree with him, it got ridiculously hard.

i'm horrible about playing games and not finishing them... I still haven't beat Deus Ex, which i consider my favorite all-time game. I didn't beat FFX either but I was right at the end and I watched a friend of mine beat the game so i decided that that would count as the end for me

i just went back and finished the marine missions in AvP2, a graphic bug with my old system prevented me from finishing one area a few months ago.
ending was like 15 words but i wasn't expecting anything. Just wanted to kill that Queen alien. I never beat Turok 2 *legit* because I got to the 4th world and my memory card took a crap. There was no way in hell I was going through that again (anyone who played it knows the pain in the ass it was to find a save point) so I just jumped ahead and beat the final boss. I did beat Turok 1 on hard with no codes though, so I figure that makes up for it. |

The only game I regret not finishing is Secret of Mana on the SNES. Damn game kept crashing on me during the final boss fight, even though my party would have whipped his sorry behind.
All other games I play until I reach either my frustration limit or boredom limit and then consult the faq (yes, I'm not proud) to beat the game. For particularly good games I'll beat them fair and square (GTA3, GTA3:VC, etc.). |
