I played Duke Nukem Forever
 

I just got back from PAX. I played a game that was (allegedly) Duke Nukem Forever. While no game is going to live up to eleven years of hype, it was pretty fun. Totally over the top: chicks, guns and f-bombs galore. Check it out. The game appears to be real.

I won't believe DNF is real until I see it sitting on shelves at Best Buy. I've waited WAAAAY to long for that game to believe otherwise.

Yeah, the concept is a bit dated, FPSers have moved into combat situations with team play more than a foul-mouthed main character who kills everything in his path.

Wonder if the game with hold up to the test of time or not.

I know what you mean. After I set down the controller and walked out of the booth, I said, "I wonder what I REALLY just played."

The only Duke Nukem I played was the one for the N64.
I suspect it was a travesty to the series, as I found it not very good, at all.

People over the years have raved about the rest of the series, so maybe DNF'll finally become something other than legend.

Heck, I'd give it a whirl.

Yeah I have have to agree. I have played all of them and I have gotten my hopes up many times. I will have to reserve myself till i see it in the stands.

Now with that said i would not mind diving back into the foul mouthed warmonger that is DN.

Did they give a release date?

Has anyone seen the Zero Punctuation review of Duke Nukem Forever? It's absolutely hilarious.

I'll believe it when I see it.. So many promises and too many let downs...
