Hey all! I wanted to announce that the SoE game has been in development for over a month now. There are 3 sets (340 cards) out atm. You can chat us up or find opponents on our IRC channel, since we don't really host random games of it yet. A quickplay guide will cover the client and plugin, and you might also want to check out the Comprehensive Rules. It's got some pretty innovative combat that works out quite nicely in practice, even if it is a bit bewildering to people used to MtG. The shared turns works out really, really well too.

It'd be cool to see some TFP blood in there right now.

so its an online game? or a card game you've been playing online? How much do the cards cost?

Those links you sent us required membership in the forums to see them. So I'll wait till I find out a bit more about it first.

It's an online card game that is free to play.

The forum is now public, thanks for noticing (I was always logged in so never knew :P)

Wow - those are some pretty awesome card images. Are they borrowed, or specifically created by you all?

They're all ripped from DeviantArt with due credit given. If any of the artists have a problem Reason will instantly replace their artwork, no questions asked. I'm not sure if he notifies them on DA when he uses an image, or if he only took from artists that okay'd the use.

When the series goes to print (or earlier if it proves a large problem) commissions would be used instead, a la MtG.

Demise of Light, the third set for SoE, has been released! This brings the total unique cards in the game to 339 (Spore Hive finally got the love it needed!) We'd love to have you join us in #soe.

I've been kind of busy (playing Aika). I'll try it eventually tho. But cards aren't really my thing.
