I'm currently on Perfect World, and CoD4

Battlefield Heroes beta mostly... I have CoD4 installed but I don't fire it up too often.

I have CoD4 installed, and even ran into Lasereth one night in the "Bog"; that was fun. But I've been having some issues with it recently where I'll play for 10 minutes or so and then my computer suddenly shuts right off. I can't afford to replace at the moment so i'm limiting my time in CoD4.

DotA, wesnoth, Desktop Tower Defense.

I'm down for any wc3/sc related activity, ever though.

The first online game I've played in years and the only one I'm playing regularly is Left 4 Dead.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for zombie apocalypses.

OMG awesome! DTD is the best flash game I've come across. Is Wesnoth as good?

And I think I may install wc3 again for some dota action.

I play pretty much Team Fortress 2 only. In 2008 I played COD4 pretty obsessively but the lack of updates for it has pushed me away from it.

I have a couple I'm playing at the moment, both being MMO's: Warhammer Online and EVE.

Street Fighter 4. I really need to get TF2 for my PC since it's a barren wasteland on the 360. I was also playing WAR for a bit but ended up canceling before my 30 day trial was up. Might jump back into it again soon though.

Atlantica Online and Warcraft III. I'm not big into the melee games on Warcraft, but there are a few choice custom maps (TBR and DotA) that occupy most of my gaming time.

True Combat: Elite

It's a CS style (free) mod for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (also free) and my computer can actually run it.

This is unusual because I don't normally bother with FPS games



Wesnoth was entertaining for a while, but got stale quickly.

L4D mostly, but I just picked up CoD5: WAW on the weekend for steam's half off sale. It's been alot of fun!

Right now; I'm playing this: Conquer-on-Contact

WoW and Travian. When I get a real copy of L4D, I will be playing that online with my friends.

Oh and Full Tilt Poker when I have money to put on it.

Eve online & Age of Conando.. enjoying both of them! :thumbsup:

@Zeraph: DTD is quite the entertaining flash game. I'd be happy to vers anyone here in MP (please? :D). I'm not sure of any other good MP flash games to recommend.

Wesnoth is a TBS (turn-based strategy) game. If you're a fan of that genre I heartily recommend it. I enjoy the (rare) MP match with a friend or six of mine from other games, but mostly I enjoy it for the SP aspect. The downfall of ANY MP TBS is length. A 1v1 with someone you know is an enjoyable experience. You are active 50% of the time and chatting amiably for the other half. A 4v4 with strangers...is more of an epic ordeal than a 'game', I might wager. Therefore, I recommend it solely on its SP experience (which has -very- high replayability, for me at least) and MP if and only if you've got a friend in tow.

As for DotA, I'm down! My sn is Skystriker and I'm on somewhat often (not as often as I'd like in the summer :\). Lemme know your sn if you reinstall and I'll be happy to give you a game of whatever map you're hankering for.



@highdro: What is TBR? I'm afraid I'm sadly unacquainted with that acronym :(. Is that the tank game? And as for DotA, I'd happily play with you guys.

As a note to either of you: if either of you has some friends with you I can easily arrange a scrim pretty much anytime for our 2 teams :). We mostly play RD, but anything from CM to AR to AP to SD is fine too. (And hey, if you're following the 6.60 beta, that new mode is looking SEXY).

As for TBR, it stands for The Black Road. It's an incredibly intricate MMO style custom map within WC3. It's really fun, if you like that sort of thing :-)

Halo 3.

It needs to be documented that tonight, while playing team slayer, spectre was abandoned by his team of 5 and he was left to fend for himself against a full team. He managed to rack up 26 kills before he was bested.

Do alot of people still play starcraft and couterstrike source alot? i feel like installing both again and having some fun.

I used to be hardcore into Halo 2, and kinda Halo 3. That was until Call of Duty 4 came out, lol. Now I'm hardcore into Street Fighter 4 with no signs of slowing down. I'm too focused on bettering my game with Ryu and Seth (a little Cammy too now.) Feel free to add me on Live if you want, my GT is Solemnity. Just let me know who you are if you do. :]

I still play cs source quite a bit. There are still tons of people who play it and plenty of servers to play on.

Tac Ops - FPS from a unreal mod - still very good and addictive

I'm not on starcraft lately because I'm spending all my time on wc3. That doesn't mean I wouldn't love to play starcraft again with some TFPers. Melee or UMS (my favorite was always the siege maps, like Helms Deep and all, but I'm down for -anything- xD).

Ill look for the discs and install it, I gotta get in some pratice cause its been quite a long time

Just friendly matches of course. Haha I haven't played SC for more than a game or two in...like since last year. WC3 is my poison of choice atm.

I Don't have too many online games. I play Left 4 Dead, City of Villains, and Guild Wars. The rest of my games are solo. :P

I just started a 2004 throwback Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach. My stepson and I are finding it interesting.

How's is guild wars? I got the first one that ever came out and played it for like 7 months and never got any expansions. Has it gotten very good?

I've been playing half and half Company of Heroes and Dawn of War 2 in spite of Relic's horrible balance. Also some Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2 and I'll probably test out this new RO mod sometime soon.

I picked up TF2 for $10 over Memorial Day weekend. TF2 on PC is far better than the console versions, wow. I've been having a blast with that, some SF4 and I bought Dawn of War 2 the other day.

Esoteric, it appears that the TFP players still on DotA still meet in the channel of your namesake xD. You should swing by sometime, a huge new release just came out (6.60).

I have been playing Ysabel for two rounds. It is kinda like Travian, but I like it more.

If anyone wants to start, now is a great time , since you can learn the basics before this round ends. The round will be over next month and should start a new round near the end of July.

I am doh in the game, and will help if anyone wants to join.

World of Warcraft and that takes up what little time I have to play.

As stated in an earlier post, I was playing Warhammer Online. I have since cancelled that subscription and moved to Lord of the Rings Online...still playing EVE as well though :)

I had a blast with Starcraft. Sadly, I lack a sense of tactics (I suck at chess, too).

I tried Warhammer Online. For an RPG with so much focus on PvP, it was more fun than I expected. But, I felt the pull of World of Warcraft yet again.

I wonder if Blizzard (company which produced WoW, Warcraft, and Starcraft) could ever morph Starcraft into an RPG...

I think it was the failed Ghost that youre thinking of, but it wasn't meant to be an MMO. I'd love to see blizz turn starcraft into an MMO even though I rather dislike blizzard now. Imagine playing a zerg or protoss warrior...so awesome.

Yea, but it would just end up being a WoW port, and that kind of defeats the purpose of paying for and playing a new game. I mean, heck, with the addition of space pallies, they're already halfway there anyways.

Starcraft is amazing. That being said, the UMS is even more amazing. There are literally thousands of starcraft RPGs: some awesome, some terrible. WarCraft has an even BETTER map editor, so the quality of games is years beyond those produced by the SC community. It's also more difficult, meaning the breadth is substantially smaller (total maps are still measured in the thousands, though).

The editor for sc2 will be more user friendly and more powerful than the wc3 editor, uniting the best of both and creating the best vehicle for user-created content in gaming, to this date.

Padorath's Return was one of my favorite UMS maps for the old starcraft. It's actually still up there, and has triggers that make studio produced games seem simp-ish. Unfortunately, no one's ever heard of it lol.

I just started playing EVE about a month back, loving it so far. I'm still trying to get to a point where I might actually survive PVP.

Also still grumpilly playing L4D, as well as Battlefield 2142.

I play World of Warcraft mostly (on Medivh).

I've played a lot of other MMORPG's (Asheron's Call, AO, EQ, Atitd, Eve, Lotro, Conan, etc). Lately I come back to WoW when I either get bored or tired of seeing so few people playing.

I would love to find something new. I guess the next thing I'll try is Perfect World.

TF2, TF2, & TF2 with a splash of BlazBlue.

Mostly TF2 though. :D

Does anyone else here play or has played Combat Arms?
I just started that and have progressed from Trainee to Recruit fairly quickly with limited time available (something about a 1 and 2 year old in the house especially)
My only prior experience was playing Counterstrike 7 years or so at an all night LAN party.

For those who are interested, Lord of the Rings Online now has a free-to-play option. You can pretty much play the whole game, but you have certain limitations. It's more or less a ceiling on gold and bags, and the like.
