Halo 3: Most Elaborate Suicide Ever

Quote:
I figured with all the hype on those suicide videos I'd make my own worth bragging about. It took me about 4 days and 65 takes to get it right. I also have to give my friend kyle some props for the technical help. enjoy.

So awesome. Some things people do with Forge is amazing, lol.

wow, that must of have been hard to work out, seems like physics engines in games are pretty unpredictable at times but heh, 65 attempts to get that right? i would have gave up after 2 or 3. part of me is impressed, part of me is saddended that someone would take that much time to e-suicide to reach out to that part of me that is impressed.

/moral confict!

I'm of the same mind as Shauk here, it really is cool, but even I have too much of a life to do something like that. And that's REALLY saying something.

I could see myself doing that. It's like an elaborate puzzle that you've created for yourself but don't know how to solve. The unpredictability (before you've figured it out) of the physics engine is what makes it fun to tinker with in this case.

It was an assisted suicide, so not as bad. I can't count how many of these types of Halo videos I've seen on SU and I didnt even thumbs up any of them. Usually it has to do with a death from the grave or triple kill occuring during actual gameplay.

In many physics engines, there is no unpredictability. I wonder if they added some randomness in the physics engine on purpose in halo 3. In Half Life 2, the source engine will reiterate exactly the same things, if the same action is repeated and the conditions haven't changed.
