congratulations, Zookman. I hope that's a harbinger of things to come your way.
|
Yeah, sorry to steal your thunder....
You mean like the bullshit speeding ticket I got yesterday? The one I'll be taking to court and fight over? Gonna win too..... . |
not loss of any thunder I cared about...I was being the straight-man for whoever wanted all those 0's.
Good luck with your ticket. How fast were you going and why will you win the challenge? |
A week ago, I would have been 1 km per hour under the posted. (90km)

I hereby declare you innocent based upon legal technicalities, though I wonder what Judge Judy would rule in this case.
|
yeah... she'd fix em up!
Thanks, Judge Judy! |
|
Sure, but which one?
|
there's only one Bond, James Bond. And his name is Sean.

|
that dummy is too dishevelled to be the real one...James is always impeccable! ...though it seems the ladies do peck him often.

no, now is the month of the monsoon.
now that i've said the word, here comes the rain (and the gallery to follow). until that time, prepare to be inundated (do you have the rain boots?) |
no boots needed. I like splashing and running around in the rain barefoot...as long as it's not too cold out. Once I make up my mind that it's OK to be wet, it becomes fun, and I don't mean nonsense.

Dammit I'm mad - a poem by Demetri Martin
Dammit I’m mad. Evil is a deed as I live. God, am I reviled? I rise, my bed on a sun, I melt. To be not one man emanating is sad. I piss. Alas, it is so late. Who stops to help? Man, it is hot. I’m in it. I tell. I am not a devil. I level “Mad Dog”. Ah, say burning is, as a deified gulp, In my halo of a mired rum tin. I erase many men. Oh, to be man, a sin. Is evil in a clam? In a trap? No. It is open. On it I was stuck. Rats peed on hope. Elsewhere dips a web. Be still if I fill its ebb. Ew, a spider… eh? We sleep. Oh no! Deep, stark cuts saw it in one position. Part animal, can I live? Sin is a name. Both, one… my names are in it. Murder? I’m a fool. A hymn I plug, deified as a sign in ruby ash. A Goddam level I lived at. On mail let it in. I’m it. Oh, sit in ample hot spots. Oh wet! A loss it is alas (sip). I’d assign it a name.N ame not one bottle minus an ode by me: “Sir, I deliver. I’m a dog” Evil is a deed as I live. Dammit I’m mad. A palindrome poem. . |
No posts in ages.... where is everyone?
Question: at 90 kilometers per hour, how long will it take to travel 100 meters... . |
Sure I had something,
Composing all weekend, right? I'll make something up. ("Sir, I deliver, I'm a dog.") (Or a pony, like up to the bar.) (Or maybe just one of us who cares.) 22024 (So much I can't believe!) |

I can't help but think that everything will fall apart when we become #1.
|
...but falling apart's
a fucking pejorative falling together. 2=2+0=5-3 |
The obstacles to our success will have fallen apart in our path. The succulent meat of success will be so tender it will fall apart in our mouths. Fall; apart of the year I like as much as Winter, Spring, and Summer.
|
I like eating meat,
& becoming redundant, I'm an omnivore. |
I post here this fine morning, as I prepare for a morning at the range, as I continue to satisfy our government requirements to own a handgun....
. |
did you get any bullseyes?
|
some bird eyes. or mosquito eyes.
|
eye eye, captain ...strange that so many captains have that patch over one eye. You'd think they would say "eye, captain"
|
it's more like: I see your eye, you see my eye. we see eye to eye.
|
even though I was "smart" in school, my speech grammer was somewhat disabled due to where I grew up in Phila; strangely enough my written grammer was usually very good. So I would often say "I seen that" or "I seen you". Early in our relationship, my first wife, now ex, gave me a sentimental present with an "eye scene". Eye shoulda seen it coming since she eventually dumped me for a "better scene"
|
The grass scene's greener
on the far side of the fence until you get there. 2+2+0=6-2 |
that's one reason I hate fences, my friend. But I love green. Green's one of my favorite colors, like TFP green
|
I hate those who hop over fences , like you, and you, and especially you.
Destroy my adorned squirrels. (I need to move myself to another forum, because as I've come to learn, I really despise all this nonsense.) |
That makes me sad, Jet,
if you really feel that way: Please reconsider. We need you. |
Have we shrunken? Considerably.
(I don't know what comes after that, I'm afraid.) our voice has just faded away into a background white noise, chittering; annoyingly-so, after a spell. - - - Here's a piece I'm reading, and enjoying (though I forgot from where I picked it up); and thinking that if I ever come to share it, it will undoubtedly be by only tumbleweeds. As much I don't like to state it, for it sounds vain, all this effortuitous work on my behalf is really to beckon an audience, one that I fear I shall never have. |
You do it again;
expanding my horizons with facility. 2/2+0+6=7 |
Audience you have.
The resounding applause for our accolades comes from within, first. I hope you continue to have passion for what you do, Jet. Our reactions or affirmations, do not define you. You do. Peace & Joy I'm new to this new lingo, is 'Tumbleweed' a kinda sorta Epithet? |
for all my voluminous knowledge of words, (that's a lie, though: my brain doesn't hold more than eight words at the ready at a time, so I go with a stream-of-consciousness, plug-in-play-sort-of manner to composing a sentence fragment of a thought in real-time) I still have yet to research and learn what an epithet is; I've heard used negatively more often, though.
I also forgot to mention ( for above, the misplaced, or altogether omitted modifier of an audience, is confoundedly-shifted to 'share' in its stead) it will most probably only be visited by tumbleweeds, and they'll have more to say as well (I just want a few comments here and there). |
I'll also mention that even though it is intermittently-updated as of now, my new venture in trying to maintain a rolling blog of my finds, thoughts, and inspirations is not the best it could be, I'm afraid, as I'm not actually posting what I find, but what others find for me, but the good news: I have not given it up.
and because of a happenstance TinEye query for which I was searching for yesterday, I came across the idea and spare four minutes to compile this post, one of my newest (although it is still late in this ever-NOW-NEWS-world we live in): http://28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l1...hhufo1_500.jpg FFS interview: Laura Marling | For Folk's Sake (hopefully, I will find the time to seek out and sample a few of her musical inclination tunes) |
I can compare the tumbleweed to my own experiences of letting
the wind & water currents direct my path, as my dry leaf self floats upon the surface of life. OCM? has mentioned how he's most accustomed to 'flying by the seat of his pants.' I offered to embroider wings on his back pockets, but in reality, I would not have the patience to carry through on that idea. Now, a handful of permanent marking pens...yeah, I could have a lot of fun with those. Post script: I just now saw your post. we overlapped a tad. When I have more time I will investigate. Computer access has been a rare and spotty thing for me lately. I'll try to catch up when I can. |
You can tattoo me
at any time you want to, with or without pants. |
as one film I'm not quite sure of stated, "You should come out and plaaa-ay".
I'll do just as I've written. http://29.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_kw...pe8uo1_500.jpg (maybe I view the world as bugs... hyper-oxygenated, prehistoric bugs?) |
Even memories are not indelible.
Put your pants back on you perv, (OCM?) or indulge in a new pastime on the subway, darlin'. Hey Jetty, that young lass won't be doing the ant/spider in my hair/cleaveage/underwear dance. Such a shame. Goota go for now...I hope to have more time another day bye for now. |
The worst day shootin' still better that the best day at work....

top of the mornin' to you all. It's a bright beautiful Spring day here today and I'm enjoying it immensely. What'll it be for lunch today?
|
Hi BadNick. Fancy meeting you here. Talk about lunch, I had a large pizza from Joe & Tina's, with sausage, green peppers, and onions. It was very yummy, a traditional thin crust style and crisped perfectly to my taste. Wish you were here to enjoy it with me.
|
and I'm sure you didn't bring enough for the rest of us?
|
Jetfriend, I couldn't eat the whole thing, so there's a couple slices left. PM me your email addy and I'll email the leftover pieces to you.

digital pizza: if ever there were a thing to try and do a search for, I'm not sure what my point is...
here's a semi-relevant example of which I mean... and I think I have a thousand resources too many, so I feel stifled to the content of this abundant and vast ocean of gibberish that is our WWW. |

chicken?

you mean it tastes like chicken, or it's really chicken? Either way, I prefer bbq'd pork ribs.
