Equalizers float because froth has its reasons |
Why is it, that when I ask for a FLAT white, it has half an inch of froth on top????!!!
|
nature's might
requires things to float like this thread. |
because you ask for it. ask for nothing and you'll get what you want.

santa claus is coming to town...pretty soon.

I've spent a majority of the past 10 days acumulating hundreds of pics just like this one:
http://18.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_kt...4hbio1_500.jpg I went from having 78 favs to, now: 965, all in the course of less than 100 waking hours. |
busy man, Jet. Do you have a favorite one? if not forever, favorite now?

send her some love letters. see if she likes you.

I ... I don't know her name.
(Oh, wait... maybe I do. I think I found it out last night.) -- parenthetical phrases are unspoken thoughts as they are processed and given actual words hmm? Mariko Shinoda 篠田麻里子 Now, I still need three full years to learn how to speak Nihongo, an additional 2 years on how to properly identify and discern the thousands of arrays of kanji, and perhaps, on a good day, an additional 4 years to properly perfec writing the language at a competent eighth grade level. Procrastination is my enemy in the mirror. He looks right through me. |
just kidnap her dude. you'll probably spend less time and effort doing that!
|
Better to find someone who speaks your language, even if no words are involved.
She said she likes curry. That's a start. |
so what is our goal? are we gonna beat the other thread and become the winning thread in the next few months or will it take another year?
|
Are your wheels spinning?
Treadbare might give you traction, if you wonder well. |
Let's keep this up everyone who's not working and/or sleepwwalking.

A woman with a clipboard just knocked at my door and asked me if we would have an African child for Christmas. We normally have a turkey but, fuck it, I'll try anything once.

That was racist in my opinion, she should have asked about all races!:shakehead: Just discussion for the good of man. |
So, how much will the shipping cost be? Will the delivery be overnight?

I got sacked last night from the Salvation Army soup kitchen.

Fuck Christmas, I didn't get shit.
Seriously though, my son got a ton of stuff from me and his family so I'm grateful for that. |
fun. I should go wrap some gifts before it's too late. :|

I had wanted it to be tonight (well, last night really) but I'll most likely be catching up on stuff, and also trying to figure out where to find the third gift (I heard about it on the 2nd night of Christmas, but I have not yet been able to locate it, manageably) so just hang on. Until then, Christmas in The Longest Thread Ever is on lay-away. (actually, the real celebration of the Birth of "Christ", or Jesus, should actually be around the same time we honor his death, in the weeks right after Spring, but mainstream Western Society has told us to celebrate in December for some several centuries, so I get it... man, my back is killing me.) |
What kills us
is unwillingness to believe |
Here's my post for the day. What did you post today?
|
The above. and... um, a couple other stuff you may never come across.
Should I post more, I wonder? |
you should.
|
And so I have.
-- If you add more vanilla extract to something whilst baking it (say instead of 1 teaspoon you add nearly 2 teaspoons), does it make the finished (bread) product any darker in hue? |
why would it? but the idea makes me hungry just the same
|
Dinners ready.....
|
not really. I have never seen a difference. I does however give it a more defined taste.
|
how about some vanilla beer? ...sounds weird but I heard it tastes good

(more vanilla = Also, I know I have delayed my gift-giving, but now, I'm just biding my time (instead of squandering it away) so I have a good outlayal (I might have made this word up a week ago, but it sounds damn nice, don't it?) of the presentation. If we can hasten ourselves up and garner a new page, all the better. Such a thoughtful post with details and raucous laughter and new intrigue into my frame of mind is best featured front and center, instead of bottomed-out and forgotten away. Be back after watching some NFL highlights and ruminating on some thoughts of music from the 20s. footnote: I could take around ~30 min. to an hour to upload my audible treats now as i found the last one, but then I'd just but presenting them to you on the 6th day of Christmas, and nobody remembers such an obtuse, unoriginal day. Best to wait for a spell and give it out on the 7th day, and even better to recognize it as New Year's Eve (sadly, Dick Clark retired; but I'm just as good, trust me). |

I saw one of those, but without the shell, on a cold rainy day at some bus stop a few months back. It was going after a popsicle stick.
|
happy new year?

That sounds like a west USA coastal banana slug,
who might go after the remnants of a banana flavoured popsicle stick. |

I'm a moon monster, so my new year doesn''t come by for some months still. Don't ruin my 24,688th year of civilized living. I want to make the year 24,689 a memorable one, so... I'm... maybe. Thinking of getting my rotating bird's license. |
Full moon tonight.
|
I still have some 3 or 4 new moons left until 24,689 (or 2010).
Do I need to help you guys reach a new page so I can present my gifts yet, or will you guys be fine? I want to read some sports articles. |
I'll be a good sport.
|
hello my dearest longest thread friends. I'm heading off to party land in a few minutes but hereby I wish you all a very nice New Year's Eve and a super fantastic upcoming 2010! Luckily, after seeing ring's critter above, I can order escargot for my appetizer and plenty of good crusty bread to sop up the herbed garlic butter....with wine! dammit I'm hungry can you tell.

|
drink time tonight? no. I'm getting a cold. bah.

just in case you haven't heard about it. it is simple, effective, and most of all, readily accessible (ie, free). |
no one will read this vehemently

in case you thought I forgot... here is (pre)-gift #0.5, of which I mentioned a few pages back... Quote:
#1 Dub (click to listen) ...oh, and I finally started using my tumblr account after waiting (procrastinating) to using it fully and comprehesively. It took me a full calendar year, plus one month to get motivated enough to steal other people's ideas and become their thoughtmonger. Lucky for me this is the busiest time of the year, and I crumble under stress. *One thumb up for sarcasm |

Well, aren't you 'Zooksport2'?
There must be a Zooksport1 somewhere. |
That was me, too... In TFP version 3 (?) I couldn't login one day, and without realising that TFP had crashed/reborn as the current TFP, so I reregistered...
One day, I'll get around to asking a mod to delete the "2" |
You get the answer

today the answer is 1 X 2 = 20 / 10

man, I'm so .. so easy (to figure).
I always leave the hard work for later, and then when it's later, I put it off until tomorrow. Okay: remind me. Eighth day of Christmas. That's the cutoff. I'm going to be whipping up my 3-part (maybe 4) gift-giving exchange before too long. But right now, I think sleep beckons. Whatever may be the case, I'd like some eggs with that. http://13.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_kv...co1_r1_500.jpg |

I've been trying to find some pictures to say hello, but I'm flailing about it.
I wonder when I said this; I just found it sereendipitously within my notes. "Happy solar return and a joyous new year to experience." -- must have been from someone's 'entryway into life' anniversary celebration. |
I knew I saw this somewhere before. Top of page 250.

how'd you find it? it doesn't look s though I used any words in the post to 'tag' it for easier search compatabilities. ---------- Post added at 05:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:07 PM ---------- also, thank you. I visited the page in question, and I now have a "new" post to add to another thread. |
I have a photogenic memory that's intensely graphic sometimes.
I stumbled upon this image while searching---lightning. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...glightning.jpg |
I found the Arctic Monkeys just last night while searching for something else; I already forgot what it was, though.

Are they twins?

Alright, I finally finished my gift-wrapping (and I finally got to using my eSnips account); here is the complete set archive: Jet's podcasts on eSnips
Happy Eighth Day of Christmas, Longest Thread Ever. But I'd still like to provide descriptions fo you all, so first up... 1. my favorite radio segment from "The Junkies" of this past year, when they say hello again to an old friend, 'Larry': 2. next, would be favorite podcast segment of "Big O and Dukes"; from the month of December in 2007, the guys talk about the holiday blues, and it turns into a discussion of how difficult life is for 'Oscar', a 28-year-old disc jockey from a medical family who still lives at home, sleeps until the afternoon, and never speaks to his 'roommate' anymore, his mother. 3. and finally, a radio piece I heard just last week, from the popular longstanding program of a "Prairie Home Companion". This is the Christmas special, and the particular segment I chose to provide you all with is "The News from Lake Wobegon", where our host recalls a time when the season was simpler, and retells the story of his four most memorable X-mas's. -- now, I'd like to note that I can't force any of you to listen to any of these segments, but I would like to say that each and every one of them is highly enjoyable in their own right, and if you were to click any of them at random, you'll be guaranteed to chuckle at least 8 times in the span of 15 minutes. I handpicked 'em just for you, so please, do enjoy. |
