Thank you Ocm? but please don't die for me; but next time you're having a great time and can afford a stray thought, think of me and I'll see if I can pick up on that good karma.
I spy a little star. |
Karma would be a good name for a breakfast cereal.

Necco is my favorite; most stores do not stock them, they can be difficult to find.

Apparently some of you guys live in the bohunk backwoods (no offense, I like backwoods) since I can walk down to the corner Wawa store and see all those candies ....hmmm, which one should I have for lunch today to go with my Wawa meatball parm sandwich with provolone, roast peppers, and horseradish sauce on a longest Italian roll?

I've never seen several of these candies. Maybe they're unique to the East. Am I living in the backwoods? Nope. Tons of big tall buildings and a major university out my window. |
Beans and rice.
beans and rice. beans and rice, (preferably basmati) condiments...condiments, condiments. Quinoa, hummus, taboolie. Asparagus, beets, artichokes, jicama, |

gg, didn't you ever hear a child use baby talk to say "water" as "wawa"? Me too, but that's nothing to do with a Wawa store ;) Wawa stores are found in the N.E. region and are like many other mini-market convenience stores, but ime they tend to be managed better than average; their name brand milk is especially good and their first milk plant was south of Philadelphia in the town of Wawa, PA. Around here, their gasoline prices are about the lowest you'll find. And on top of that, they have a great selection of candies and Snickers ice cream bars  along with many other treats that I try not to indulge in too often. Quote:
I can hardly express how much I love beans and rice. Red beans and rice, black beans and rice, mixed beans and rice ...I like rice and rice, too. I just love rice and eat more than my share. I'm sure I have a weakness for food, you made me hungry, so I'm going to go dream of food now since it's too late for me to eat much of it. |

Thank you, BadNick, for that brief introduction to Wawa culture!

jewels,
that was very sweet candy-like of you http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...welCandy-1.jpg to post a red "x" and so you might notice how these two bars almost make sort of a red x http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...0grandbars.jpg edit: OK, your picture link is now fixed so my post is hereby pissing into the wind. |
I prefer dark dark meaty chocolate.
I am nibbling and savoring a 70% Cacao, Vanilla Bean Brulee, made by Russell Stover. If I eat eat too many sweets....I get so wound up; just like when I was a child, all wound up and silly by bedtime. My mother used to threaten to throw me in a cold tub. Dark dark chocolate is good medicine. (in moderation.) |
Put your hands where my eyes can see.

How this is flowing

I saw one
at a bar mitzvah and savored. This, after an hour, "with" my friend and lover, ring, is an afterglow. I feel her presence and can only want some more. I guess I'm needy. Send me chocolate, please! 13-4-5=4, though that may not be the number. See? |
My mom said she is going to sleep another hour.
I need my spidy too..very very much. |
I just had a Twix bar :p
|
I love chocolate, so don't persecute me because I'm sitting at my desk in work right now chewing on a batch of "mixed spring olives". I have to wipe my finger after each bite so I don't get olive oil all over my keyboard ...hey, aren't there any keyboards yet that will just automatically type what I'm thinking?
Inspired by a previous post from ring, yesterday for dinner I had basmati rice (Texmati variety of basmati) into which I cut up a bunch of lightly steamed asparagus, salt & peppered with a drizzle of olive oil, then I had another helping of that as a midnight snack. Then I went to bed, then I fell asleep, then I woke up, took a shower, went to work, now I'm here ....the world is such a circularly interconnected miracle! |
|
oh yeah! ^ I would like that, the mixed textures, some are soft to my bite, some are firm, the nutty flavors ....damn, when's lunch.
|
I'm a fan of Jasmine rice. Wish I had a rice cooker, always turns out so much better.

That reminds me, I want to finish reading,The Years of Rice and Salt.
