Btw, as a kid I also used to catch bugs and throw them into the spider web just to see the little spider run over and wrap it all up for a later snack. To maintain the tradition, I recently showed this to my boys and they are now doing it regularly ...I like most spiders but I don't like most pesky bugs around/in my house. |

Hey now some of my bestest friends I met in the tidepools
at Torrey Pines State park in Ca....alas they don't let people go down into it anymore cuz some peoples would steal and disrupt. Good times and memories...once I saw a sea slug that was almost as long as my arm...such glorious wonders...I was fortunate indeed. |

Listen to me ..Who am I to talk sitting here in the same clothes I've slept in for two days....well it's cold dammit..I still take a bath every day so how could my clothes get that soiled anyway.. Hey..you know a fun thing to do if the air temp gets to be -25 F ? Take a container of very hot water..some say boiling is best and then take it outside...fling it into the air..and it turns into a white powder so quickly it makes a zipping sound. I would love to capture that on video. |

WHOA Silent Running with Huey, Louie, and Dewy! I haven't seen that for ages. The ending made me sad as a kid since how that robot's power supply wouldn't be indefinite. I was such a little scifi nerd as a child. Shame on me for that Dune reference though.

I googled 'Ringworld' art from Larry Niven's book 'Ring world.'
The avatar is computer generated and it should not take me long to back track and give credit to the artist who made it. I tried to use various other images of the cat eye nebula and such but much was lost in the compression factor. |
