Shriners vote to expand hospital in Montreal

North American Shriners gathered for a convention in Baltimore have voted to expand their children's hospital in Montreal, rather than move the facility to London, Ontario.

This is big news for Montreal and London.

I wonder what the sentiments are from London.

I have a young child and I was hoping we would land this shiners hospital, although i am not up to par on all the details, I know that our current childrens hospital is top notch, and we have the ronald mrdonald house on the same campus as the kids hospital. it would have been a nice addition, but were ever it goes, as long as kids can get excellent treatment does not matter where it is, good for montreal.

Agreed. as long as there is one somewhere in Canada where Canadians can have access to it.
