There is a new feature on the Internet you might want to try... it's called GOOGLE.

Easy now... that sarcasm can hurt.

If you show up at a polling station (in your jurisdiction) with proper identification, they cannot PREVENT YOU FROM VOTING. You can register right there, just before you cast your ballot.

If anyone prevents you from voting, ask to see the person in charge of the polling station, and explain that you are not registered yet, but would like to exercise your democratic right. Remain calm.

If there are any further problems, I would start phoning the government. Don't hang up until you get an answer.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE REGISTERED BEFOREHAND.

OK fine. Maybe I was a little hard on Mr. Taco, but seriously...it would be a lot easier to type 3 words into google and get the EXACT information you need without cluttering up the forums with frivolous threads.

I thought the people from Electorate office would run around and register people themselves.

At least, that's what they did during the Federal Elections out here in Alberta.
