Brisbane -> Byron Bay
I'm semi-seriously thinking about going to the Byron Bay Music Festival on Easter Weekend...
My question is.. if I fly to Brisbane, what's the usualy way of getting down to Byron Bay? Train? Do they do small flights or something? My geography is horrible.. so I'm not sure how far apart they are. Anyone have any ideas? |
Fly straight to Ballina on Virgin and then get a bus or something. It's only about 30 mins away. Bugger flying all the way to Brissie!

sweet.. that's the kinda info I need. Thanks!

Yeah, Byron is ages from Brissie. Get up there though Latch, unbelievable.

Did you know the Violent Femmes are playing at the Blues and Roots Festival, Latch? They're also doing a Brissie show in March that I will most definitely be at!
|
i saw the femms the last tour that they did a few years back and really ..... i wanted to like them ..... i really did ..... but ..... they were horrid! they looked bored and didn't really engage the crowd. it was quite a sad thing to see because i was hoping that it was going to be a blinder ... sadly .... not!
but george clinton is going to be there!! so,,,, hoping that will be a lot better! |
There are a lot of good bands there. I grew up listening to REM, so would love to see them. Violent Femmes.. saw them at their last tour as well (here in geelong).. I enjoyed it.. Jack Johnson would probably be pretty good. There's a lot of good names on there.
