Australia Day
 

What did everyone do for Australia Day?

Each year Perth has fireworks (do other cities do fireworks? i heard they don't?) on the river, so me and some friends went down to the foreshore - not really to watch fireworks especially, but just to mill about and drink. There's always heaps of people down there! Was a bit of a hoot :)

They should've made it a five day weekend though! :p
public holidays on a Wednesday are kind of whack...

I didn't do a great deal...there were two Hottest 100 parties on either side of my place, so at least I got to hear most of the countdown.

Morning was recovering from a hangover.
Arvo was at the beach.
Evening was spent watching the storms here and just general fucking around/laziness.

A pretty good day, overall.

I've got rec leave from today until next Tuesday.. a full week off (including the A-Day holiday). woohoo!

spent the whole day listening to the hottest 100 with a couple of mates just drinking and eating bbq.

I don't do Australia day.

for Australia day this year, i moved to Tokyo.

I'm a little late, but on Australia day I played Counter Strike and watched TV during the day, then that evening I drank some beer and played Counter Strike and went to bed. Thrilling stuff!

I'm a bit late too, but I did the family & friends bbq over here for Australia day.

It's been ages since I've done one of those, I don't know why I don't do it all the time?

For me Australia day always mean cricket.
