FUCKING TELSTRA
 

So the geniuses decided they'd try to do some upgrades without telling anyone. Then they fucked up the system. We're currently on 21 hours of them trying to fix it...

What broke was the nation's ADSL connection. Not 100%, but it could be very dodgy, completely not exist, etc. Now.. a town.. maybe.. but they fucked up the whole nation!. It took me forever to get to this point (yeah, I know.. I'm using what little connection time I get to bitch)... they're fuckheads.. the lot-of-em.

So anyways.. I need a beer...

I'm so glad that I havent been affected by this. Im on ADSL, and I've had the lions share of fuck ups.

i agree whole heartedly.
and its not just their fucked-ness with the ADSL... its because of them and their conservative cronies that this country is still poking round in the dirt instead of embracing new technology.


but i still don't get the root thing from nonsense.

They need some true competition to keep them from getting lazy/fat off profits.

Don't get me started on how bad they are. I get trouble at least weekly, and thats only with crappy dial up.

I made sure I have nothing Telstra related connectd in my house, and I feel good about it.

Telecom is worse. They got a monopoly here and the government does jack shit about it :(

They decided to privatise Telstra and the first float was incredible. Then when the second float came around, everyone went....fucking yeah! Where do I sign?!

So what happened? The stock ended up worthless. We lost heaps (well, not as much as we did in Pyramid Building Society but that's another story).

I heard that somebody forgot to register the name properly in each state, and they had to choose something new, after somebody "name squatted".
