sillygirl 01-01-2007 11:36 PM

yeah I hate beer. And really, OCM... what was their deal? *raises eyebrow*

Ourcrazymodern? 01-02-2007 07:35 AM

We had papers on the dog, but not on the kids. Interestingly enough they allowed us to take the kids back to their homeland! (What if we'd really been child exporters?)

silent_jay 01-02-2007 09:27 AM

Damn border people, haven't had to cross that thing in a few years.......

Now no one tell sillygirl the real location of the meet, just keep her thinking it's in Winnipeg haha just joking silly..I wouldn't do something like that to you.

sillygirl 01-02-2007 10:20 AM

That's okay. I'm just going to canada for the syrup

silent_jay 01-02-2007 10:30 AM

Wow........

sillygirl 01-02-2007 10:37 AM

*watches the ego fall to the floor*

silent_jay 01-02-2007 12:08 PM

rock bottom.....

sillygirl 01-02-2007 12:28 PM

you lie. You're a man, so you're a bad liar too. :p

Ourcrazymodern? 01-02-2007 12:38 PM

Yeah, one could always tell when the boys weren't truthing!
My daughter lied to me every day throughout high school & I believed her.
Why does lie come within believe?

sillygirl 01-02-2007 12:46 PM

so you gonna come to Winnipeg? ;)

silent_jay 01-02-2007 03:10 PM

I was but now I'm having second thoughts, I'll just send sillygirl some syrup instead that'll make her happy..... haha

edit: I mean with my ego being so low I doubt they'd let me fly anyways so I'll pass.

sillygirl 01-02-2007 04:07 PM

I was talking to OCM :p
You don't need to fly to Winnipeg... I thought you were driving?

Sorry 'bout your ego

silent_jay 01-02-2007 04:28 PM

my ego is rockin......

sillygirl 01-03-2007 06:46 AM

That guy's got a nice large beard.

silent_jay 01-03-2007 07:45 AM

Yep sure does.....

Ourcrazymodern? 01-03-2007 04:19 PM

It's male pattern hairiness at work.
Overall, I've found it a bother.
If only he'd lived long enough he could've been Santa Claus.

silent_jay 01-03-2007 04:42 PM

Yeah too bad he died so young but like he said:
Quote:

I see myself as a huge fiery comet, a shooting star. Everyone stops, points up and gasps "Oh look at that!" Then - whoosh, and I'm gone... and they'll never see anything like it ever again, and they won't be able to forget me - ever.
Seems he knew it was going to happen.

sillygirl 01-03-2007 04:55 PM

Wow. That's pretty deep. I don't know if this thread can handle it..

Ourcrazymodern? 01-03-2007 05:01 PM

It kinda seems he wanted it to happen.
Maybe he had a messiah-complex.

silent_jay 01-03-2007 05:05 PM

Probably a little bit of wanting it to happen and a little bit of needing it to happen as well.....

Ourcrazymodern? 01-03-2007 05:11 PM

I agree. I don't understand being so talented and charismatic and yet so melancholy and intentionally doomed.
Maybe he had other places to go?

silent_jay 01-03-2007 05:18 PM

Quite possibly or like he said happened to him when he was a kid on the road in New Mexico, maybe the soul of the shaman slipped into someone else that morning in Paris......

sillygirl 01-03-2007 05:22 PM

okay, I guess I seriously need to do some research. 0_o

silent_jay 01-03-2007 05:27 PM

I've just always been a fan of Morrison whether it's his poetry or his music, which was basically his poetry to music, no need to do research, he's an acquired taste, most people consider him nothing more than a drunken bafoon but I blame that on Oliver Stone and the way he made him look in that terrible movie.

sillygirl 01-03-2007 05:33 PM

well someone here was brought up more with a country music influence, so :p I'm gonna do some research. :)

PS I think you're a stoned buffoon :p

*hides*

silent_jay 01-03-2007 05:36 PM

I like country music, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Hank III people like that, I'm not a big fan of conventional country music though.

Stoned buffoon, wow, people these days, more and more every day I'm just gonna sens maple syrup to Winnipeg......haha

sillygirl 01-03-2007 05:39 PM

Yeah, conventional country. Garth Brooks, George Strait, etc. ;)

Save me the trip then and just send the syrup here. :D

Ourcrazymodern? 01-03-2007 05:44 PM

I like Patsy Cline, and a lot of the modern stuff.
"...do youwant fries with that?..."

silent_jay 01-03-2007 05:50 PM

wow now she wants the syrup sent there...this has taken an interesting twist haha....

Patsy Cline is cool, I like her...

sillygirl 01-03-2007 05:53 PM

I like Patsy Cline too.

What's the interesting twist? hehe

Ourcrazymodern? 01-03-2007 05:53 PM

& she died young, too. Damn it!

silent_jay 01-03-2007 06:02 PM

All the greats die young it seems......

Interesting twist, would be me just sending you the syrup rather than you making an appearance.....but if that's what you want hehe....

Ourcrazymodern? 01-03-2007 06:08 PM

An interesting twist would be if there was actually a Winnepeg Experience.

sillygirl 01-03-2007 06:09 PM

well shit. If you just want to send the syrup instead of hopping the company plane to make like, a 40 minute flight, then that's on you buddy. ;)

edit: It'll take you more time to buy the syrup and ship it than it would to get on a plane :p

silent_jay 01-03-2007 06:14 PM

haha i never said that, and no company plane I'm getting my flight paid for on some small airline...

Ourcrazymodern? 01-03-2007 06:20 PM

hahahahahhahahahahahah!

I have a lovely sugar maple in the backyard.
I think I"ll tap it this year.
I'll boil down some syrup for you, silly.

40 minutes in the air varies tremendously.

silent_jay 01-03-2007 06:22 PM

Seems like I've talked my way into a corner once again....haha

sillygirl 01-03-2007 06:43 PM

haha you said it was a company plane though, didn't you? :p

OCM, I'd LOVE some homemade syrup. Saves Jay the trouble, right? Teehee

silent_jay 01-03-2007 06:50 PM

no I said they were paying for the flight, I think anyways I may have been inebriated.

Trouble? What trouble?

Ourcrazymodern? 01-03-2007 07:12 PM

How fast do crows fly?

silent_jay 01-03-2007 07:31 PM

About 30mph with bursts to 60mph...

sillygirl 01-03-2007 07:32 PM

How fast DO crows fly? Can they carry a coconut with them?
And Jay, the trouble of going to the grocery store (but where you're going the store's probably a 30 second walk away :p ) And you said you might be able to catch a flight on the company plane when I fly to Winnipeg :p

silent_jay 01-03-2007 07:36 PM

haha, well i was wrong, but i may be able to catch a flight...

sillygirl 01-03-2007 07:48 PM

well shit, in that case I guess if you don't want to go to the trouble of traveling, go ahead and ship it. Or I can go visit OCM and get some syrup :P
hahaha

silent_jay 01-03-2007 08:12 PM

Who said it was trouble to travel? Certainly it wasn't me...

Ourcrazymodern? 01-03-2007 08:24 PM

See how you are?!
LMAO. & thanking you as well...
The syrup down here won't be ready until sometime in April.

sillygirl 01-03-2007 08:31 PM

Cool. April will be better than June, right? June is always so hot...

and we're like kids, right?

Ourcrazymodern? 01-03-2007 08:42 PM

How hot is June in Winnipeg?

silent_jay 01-03-2007 08:44 PM

Yeah April is better than June,

Who's like kids? I reckon I'm in the category...

edit: no idea how hot it is in June, I've never been there, I just hope I can survive Thompson in January.

sillygirl 01-03-2007 08:46 PM

I don't know what it's like anywhere really except for here in Phoenix. I was asking about where you are, OCM. Jay doesn't want me to go visit TFP in Canada, remember?

Ourcrazymodern? 01-03-2007 08:52 PM

Where's Thompson?

Sometimes kids are smarter than we are;

I like it better whan it's brighter out.

silent_jay 01-03-2007 09:01 PM

Oh come on now sillygirl, I think you know that isn't true, I'm pretty sure I've told you that before.

Thompson is 739 kilometers north of Winnipeg.

Ourcrazymodern? 01-03-2007 09:17 PM

Relative tilt.

sillygirl 01-03-2007 11:04 PM

how is it brighter in june than in April?

silent_jay 01-04-2007 05:41 AM

Not too sure....

Ourcrazymodern? 01-04-2007 07:38 AM

...just thinking about the relative angle of the sun, and wrongly.
Days when the sun doesn't set and all...

Scorps 01-04-2007 09:10 AM

Wow 739 Km north why not move to Churchill....lol

Scorps 01-04-2007 09:10 AM

sillygirl 01-04-2007 09:22 AM

lets just say about a 1-2 day drive:suave:

I don;t know if I wanna take that car on a long road trip like that...gas gets pricy and its not geared for the highway

sillygirl 01-04-2007 10:33 AM

hmmm.. ok fly instead then :)

silent_jay 01-04-2007 10:46 AM

Yeah PT, you should come too, we can have a good old time...

sillygirl 01-04-2007 10:49 AM

We'll make sure Jay gets nice and drunk too :D And not on old man stuff. teehee

Scorps 01-04-2007 10:50 AM

Whats this old man stuff you speak of?

silent_jay 01-04-2007 10:58 AM

She says I drink old man drinks...she's just a youngin though...

edit: highly unlikely I'll be getting drunk though...

sillygirl 01-04-2007 11:07 AM

Old man stuff is his nasty whiskey. Yuck. Not even mixed to make it taste decent.

And I bet I could get you to drink. :p

Scorps 01-04-2007 11:24 AM

Oh those kinda drinks...I stick with Rum and Coke

sillygirl 01-04-2007 11:27 AM

Yeah I go for a strong rum and coke or an adios motherfucker :D
mmmm... special kool aidl...
http://www.dita.jp/about/image/cocktail02_p.jpg

silent_jay 01-04-2007 11:30 AM

Yeah silly you could get me to drink....calm my nerves....

Scorps 01-04-2007 11:30 AM

I'm not fan of the beer drunk...I get sick and the huge hang over sucks

sillygirl 01-04-2007 11:31 AM

beer hits me harder and faster than liquor. It's weird. I don't like the beer drunk either

Scorps 01-04-2007 11:32 AM

I drink twice as much liquor which is good and bad..lol

sillygirl 01-04-2007 11:35 AM

yeah... Jay knows what I get like when I'm drunk.. .kind of. Just by webcam

Scorps 01-04-2007 11:41 AM

LOL I can;t even figure out how to turn the computer on when im drunk

sillygirl 01-04-2007 11:45 AM

on NYE, my friend had to put my tennis shoes on for me and practically carry me out of the house to get me to a movie that I didn't wnt to see... I couldn't fight very well though, but I also couldn't change my own shirt.

Scorps 01-04-2007 11:48 AM

There are some nights I don't know how I get home..its wierd

sillygirl 01-04-2007 11:51 AM

Oh, I usually drink at home. And it's few and far between now what with the kid using all my liquor money on formula and diapers

Scorps 01-04-2007 11:54 AM

Then when they get older they will drink it all on ya

sillygirl 01-04-2007 11:55 AM

hahahahah yeah he'll probably start sneaking my liquor. I'm gonna be one of those people though that marks my bottles. :p

Scorps 01-04-2007 12:01 PM

Or just lock them up

sillygirl 01-04-2007 12:07 PM

I don't knwo if I could do that while drunk. I don't know that I could draw a line, either though haha

LOL I meant the booze not the kid(s):D

Edit:
Gah time for work boooo:mad:

sillygirl 01-04-2007 12:11 PM

I meant for him to take a plane. But I still think you should come.

I don't know where anything in canada is, especially as far as things to do. I'm up for suggestions for this trip though :D

HAHAHAHAHA PT that's a great idea

silent_jay 01-04-2007 12:25 PM

Yeah i have no idea what to do in Winnipeg....guess we'll just have to figure it out as we go along and see what happens...at least the Jazz festival is going on during your visit..

sillygirl 01-04-2007 12:31 PM

and the men's volleyball tournament ;P

silent_jay 01-04-2007 01:11 PM

Hehe yeah we can always do that too, although I can think of something more important than any scenery or activity........

sillygirl 01-04-2007 03:46 PM

wow, you have an interesting view of "important" :p

So anyway, hi

uncle phil 01-04-2007 04:22 PM

no pics of SJ yet?

silent_jay 01-04-2007 04:22 PM

Are you talking about what I told you was more important than the scenery or activities?

And, hi there.....

sillygirl 01-04-2007 04:39 PM

hehe yes.
And Phil he did post a pic I think a couple pages ago

silent_jay 01-04-2007 04:48 PM

Of course what I told you is important to me....how is it interesting? If it wasn't I wouldn't have said it.....

Yeah Phil a couple of pages ago I did, can't rememberwhat page though.

sillygirl 01-04-2007 05:01 PM

what's Jones Town?
And this is the happiest kool aid on earth.

Scorps 01-04-2007 05:04 PM

I never had a Kool Aid like that before..the GF has..hehe

Woot for 3 hours of work

Ourcrazymodern? 01-04-2007 05:38 PM

about 12.93. ...and shrinking...

I met a guy from Georgia whose name was Joe king, Jr.

We often asked him if he was joking...
