Pen Tricks
 

Yeah, you've probably seen someone nimbly flip a pen or pencil between their fingers, somewhere. Or at least heard of it.. well, anyways, I KNOW you all groaned in envy... I know I did! Who's with me?

It's a cool thing, in any case. So, the main site I've been getting all my stuff from is Pentrix, which is a good site, but you should check out the Links section, there're more sites than I thought would exist. A good one for you to start out with is the FingerPass. If you've ever seen the James Bond movie Goldeneye, you'll recognise it, or at least a variant it, from near the end of the movie where Boris, the computer hacker, is spinning a pen between his fingers. It can look quite cool when mastered. That tutorial is on a different site from Pentrix, by the way.

If you have questions, there's a huge forum ready to take most of them, if not all. I suggest you start with the Fundamentals, which have an entire forum dedicated to them... the Fundamentals Forum, obviously.

It's fun for a rainy day, or when you're bored out of your skull...

i can do em!!! :D just practice alot

I do it all the time actually w/out even realizing it. Its just somthing I do while waiting for say, the receipt to print out, or listening to my professor talk, etc...

But I can also do a lot of cool shit with sticks, tubes, golf clubs that deals with spinning them rather fast around my hands/wrist.

And yes I can use either hand, for I am just ambidexterous. (Spellling way off I know).
