What/where is your local?
 

My local pub is the Lapstone Hotel. Its a pretty good pub all things considered. Its got a big fireplace happening lately, cause its bloody cold.

Lately it's been The Max.. which is right across from work. Not a bad place... although they have the Joker Jackpot, and a bunch of idiots are taking over our after-work pub, trying to win the money. I'll be happy when that thing goes back down.

Before it was The (Waurn) Ponds (Hotel). A dirty, dodgy, crappy pub. A student (resi) pub... it was a terrible place.. but it was the closest to res (no taxi fees, we could just stumble back!).. so everyone went there.

The Red Lion in Wagga, the Termo when I'm in Albury, and the Globe when I'm back home in Deniliquin.

Latch, when I was living in Moree I drank at a pub called The Max... I'm guessing your one is much different to that stinking cess pit/boxing ring.

our local used to be the elephant and castle - close to everyone's place, until we all dispersed.

i swear, everytime this one barmen was working that i was in there underage it was my 18th. the funniest part is - i scored about half a dozen free pots before he caught on.

I think I've been to the Termo... but I was very drunk and am not 100% sure. That was a good 21st.

Nah.. this "Max" used to be a sailor's/fishermen's/dockworker's pub (right on the bay). Apparently it used to have it's best business from 6am-10am, when they all got off work. Now it's been redone and is a nice, clean pub.

All the nightshift workers from Ford (as well as the others you quoted) used to frequent 'the Max'. Now it's gone up market and they have gone elsewhere.
