I'm not sure if I'm the only one with an Australia fetish, but it's my opinion that Australians (and your buddies in NZ) are the best people on the planet.

If the rest of the world (my country included) took one day a year, and tried to act a bit more "australian" I think the world would be a better place.

if the world tried to act australian for a day nothing would get done, pubs would be overcrowded which would cause stampedes.

isnt that what st. patricks day does?... except instead of green beer, it'd be a day of beer & cheap frozen meat pies.

It would keep a lot of publicans, barmaids, brewery workers and police in a job!

There'd be a hell of a rush on morning after pills, as well.

i love aussies!!! i came in here looking for a thread like this so i could say how much i love them. i especially love their accents. but in general i haven't met one who isn't completely lovely, so i'm all for aussies! i wish i could hear some of you guys talk instead of just reading the text. i'll stop acting crazy now. :icare:

It's a good idea, Clavus, but fundamentally flawed. You can't just put on Australian for a day; it's a lifestyle. It doesn't work if you know you have to go back to being a Seppo tomorrow.
