Looking at this bag of Fritos Twists I am eating, I have come to the realization that two of them, held 90 degrees to each other, make a surprisingly stable worm gear setup. Could this be the start of a food-based-robot takeover?

I can say with the utmost certainty, maybe.

there are no limits... you may well have just come across the single most important idea since sliced bread.

i suggest you run and patent your idea of food-based robotics.
