The 33 1/3 second mystery #10
Picture an empty wine bottle with the cork secured at the top in typical fashion. From the cork, by a piece of monofilament a metal ring is suspended.
Without touching the bottle, cork, ring, or filament, how can you cause the ring to fall to the bottom of the bottle? Note: out of town for a few days without internet access-I'll rejoin this thread once home at week end. Thanks. |
Heat the bottle to expand the neck. That's if the ring is outside the bottle.
Inside the bottle? Use a magnifying glass and burn through the filament. |
Use an enormous magnet (like the ones found in MRI scanners)?
|
Have someone else pick up the bottle and smash it.
There, I didn't touch it. |
Congrats to tehblaed, belated though it is. Your fuzzy bunny is slightly dusty.
Many thanks for the patience :D |
