The 30 Second Mystery 63 - Why?

There are four categories: Who, What, Where and Why. Some will be easy, some not. I have as many as six clues to help you along, which I'll supply as needed.

Please limit yourself to one guess, and another guess for each clue I supply. No questions asking for help or hints are allowed. Partially correct answers won't be acknowledged.

Wild guesses and comments are fine. In fact, they can add to the mystery and are fun to read. Be precise when guessing.

The Case:
Bob and Jane are having an intense discussion while Bob is trying to concentrate on driving their two seat sports car down a winding mountain road. Bob is wearing a seatbelt, while Jane is not. Suddenly Bob looses control and drives the car off of a cliff. Bob is seriously hurt, while Jane is not even scratched.

The Mystery:
Why wasn't Jane hurt by the accident?
