is there a list somewhere here that i haven't happened upon yet that lists the banned users & the reasons they were banned?

a few of those names listed as banned in this thread seriously boggle my little mind.

I think we're just supposed to speculate as to the reason the tfp is hemmorhaging community members.

well i cannot even begin to imagine or speculate why minx would be banned... nor WhoaitsZ... or even ~springrain. the others i really hadn't paid much notice to yet.

true tho, i haven't been around tfp all that long & i really only read very limited amounts... but i thought those were some of the policy abiding core tfpers...

There's a thread in general discussion about psuedoprivate journals. Seems a few were banned in the process of that discussion.

Thanks for the offer Halx. Personally, I haven't said anything about the bannings because I figure that the issues are private between you and them. By "you" I mean the admins and mods here.

My main question is more one of who was banned, rather than why. I've seen a listing here of a bunch of names that I will miss. So I figured that rather than PM you for a listing, I'd just check out which of my usual playmates won't be around.

Whenever a community looses members, fine upstanding members or not, it looses a part of itself.

Each person, each personality, is a building block. Each member lost puts a whole in the walls of the community that can never been fully filled, only partially patched over.

I don't wish to take part in rampant speculation. I also don't wish to say c'est la vie and let it go at that, so I will take you up on your offer Halx.

But seriously, some of the banned people were good people but what happened between them and the admins/mods are private...

It just doesnt make sense thats all.

I hope that these problems arnt indicitive of a decaying community here....

One of the other forums im on always starts a thread on why they ban people so we know whats going on!
