I need some sound advice...

Since this doesnt really qualify as a discussion... and mostly im bored, it ends up here in nonsense.

I get to bring an 8.5x11 "cheat sheet" with whatever I want written on it for my freshman chem. final tomorrow... think O shud make it now or tomorrow?

Test at 3:45.

"sound advice" - can you put it on tape...or dvd?

Pellaz 12-16-2003 06:14 PM

you should make it tonight, and redo it tomorow. It'll give you a better idea where everything on it is, and odds are you'll even have to rely on it less.

bernadette 12-16-2003 07:29 PM

start it now!

you're bound to keep thinking of things that you can to it. GO! GO! GO!

the best way i found to remember formulas was to write cheat sheets.
iŽd spend the evening before cramming all the formulas i needed for the exam onto a tiny bit of paper that would fit in my pencilcase, and in doing so, iŽd memorise the formulas and end up not using the cheat sheet.

but now your telling us that cheat sheets are allowed??

cool.
put absolutely EVERYTHING on it. thats just about all the advice i can think of.

oh, and good luck.

DO IT NOW! The sooner the better! Don't get burned by not having one, or not having one fully done! They always take much longer to make than one anticipates!

I would do the same...for every test, I would re-write the textbook out in fine points of only the most pertinent information. When it came time for the test, it was like Deja Vu and I could easily write down my answers as if I was making the cheat sheet.

Oh, and type out the cheet sheet with the smallest font you can read :)

dont do it ......skip school and do drugs and strippers

ickma 12-17-2003 02:21 PM

Do one now and do one tommorrow. Then compare the two and see if you missed anything on either one and combine them into one uber sheet.

I vote for this suggestion...

sillygirl 12-17-2003 06:43 PM

Do it now, and type in the smallest, simplest font you can still read, and just make sure you keep it organized. My teachers used to let me do this sometimes (usually it was just a 3x5 notecard, though) and if I did it at the last minute I'd end up with a sloppy, unorganized card that didn't do me much good anyway. Good luck!

krwlz 12-18-2003 03:39 PM

I did it the night before, and checked it the next day. I think I fucked up the final anyway.

Maybe I shuda done drugs and strippers... Woulda been more fun.
