How can we get WK to stop asking to be a mod?

flyman - some have signed up, but I haven't been able to talk to them yet.

genka - stop hitting your head with your hands, it's not that bad...

richeee - I'm ready as I can be, it's going to be interesting to say the least.

WK - You have to apply just like everyone else, we don't approach anyone.
And the applications are only released when Halx finds it's necessary.
Anyone who applies at this time is considered.
(At least this was the way when I became one)
I vote according to the person at the time it comes, not before.
(and I believe all the other mods are the same, we all discuss)
However, I will say, I doubt we will need any more soon.
Because the maintenance issues just got smaller with this restart.
Check back in a few months, You'll see when Halx post his request.

Why are some slaves to what they do for work, while others can shut work off when they leave?

They are not meaningless, they do provide a service.
And they do help the world, just not in your immediate view.
It's just that you aren't interested in that type of service.

The slaves I find tend to care more, they want the job done right.
The others that can turn it off, it's just a job, they are only concern with their own life.

Well, what people say and what people do are two different things.

I'm expecting at least 20, then from there it's up for grabs.

Potentially: *Nikki*, Sixate, phred and more I can't think of right now.

It's very difficult to tell, many are making a very long trip
there is money & scheduling involved

That's why I haven't put up a list.
Many WANT to come, then life gets in the way.
I do NOT want to speak for anyone or obligate them in anyway.
