i don't even have a pumpkin this year yet.
but usually i just buy them to sit on the porch uncarved & they still look nice until i toss them when i put up the christmas wreaths on the front doors.

krwlz: we need photographic evidence of this rockin' pumpkin of yours. :D

Yea, haha, well my advice is go buy a pumpkin and carve it. Its good clean fun, its cheap, and it will make you remember when you were a kid...

Pumpkin carving is one of the best things about Halloween! I just love doing that with my kids and we usually have a few decorating our place.
Halloween just isn't the same without that ritual!!!!

As soon as I finished carving my pumpkin last year, I put it out on my porch with a candle in it. I then went upstairs to get my other pumpkin I carved, when I came back down, my first pumpkin was smashed on my driveway! Normally I wouldn't care, but I spent some time making it come out nice. So I set up my other pumpkin with a new candle in it and waited in the bushes with a bucket full of pumpkin slop. I waited for about an hour for the hooligans to return, but they never did. Good thing too, because I was going to make them eat the slop...oh well, there is always this year.

They should work, with little to no adjustments.

Aesik 10-28-2003 06:58 PM

I don't so much carve pumpkins as clean up the mess my kids make while carving pumpkins.
