beer!
what beer do you prefer?
Voted "Others":
Jupiler or Kriek for the easy drink, Duvel or Leffe for the stronger drink. All Belgian beer... still have to find a beer that tops those, but hey, I'm always in for something new and refreshing ;) |
I tried guinness for the first time a little while ago and fell in love. :p
Generally I prefer beer brewed by smaller breweries, I like the taste of a well crafted amber ale such as Alaskan Amber. This is not to say I dislike all corporate beers, or that I like all handcrafted brews though.
I voted other. Busch Light is my staple, I'll get an oil can of Fosters on occasion, and a case of something from a microbrew every so often.
So EZ,
Bud |
guinness (note the spelling) is my number one choice, but it is not the only thing i'll drink. my big thing is flavor, i like something that has a very rich and distinguished taste to it. as a general rule i do not like light beers.
well, i realize that my poll lacked quite a few beers, i just tried to get the biggest ones, personaly i like homebrew, but in absence of that i go killians
heineken for me !
I love killian's but anything korean is my fav..........
Guinness is definitely at the top of my list. Well, stouts are at the top of my list, Guinness just being the most common. Great great stuff. Nothing like drinking a loaf of bread. ::flashes a quick grin::
killians???
whats wrong with killians? by this poll maybe bud isnt the king of beers after all
i used to love genny twelve-horse ale, now i might have 2 or three labatts per year...(bourbon being the libation of choice...)

No offence meant to any who like it, just an opinion! |
Bud or Miller in the red can.
For some reason I find beer in green bottles tastes like a skunk smells (not good). Never tried Guinness. |
Amstel Light
*richheee buys vermin a guinness in the Inn...*
I no longer drink, I used to drink Guiness. If that wasn't available it wad Killians. I liked dark beer. Now I'll stick with water and iced tea. :D
other: Newcastle
buuuuurrrrrrrppppp.....sleamans cream ale, coors light, don't mind warsteiner and becks is good too.
Throw rocks if you like but sussin out Millers G D cause I'm getting bored with our Aussie stuff.
The challenge is to sample every BEER in the World. But I digress. I like BEER for some reason. http://zeus.fh-brandenburg.de/~fuchs/bier1.wav |
Justification of Other: New Castle has to be my favorite.
Actually it is black and tans for me, Guiness and Bass
don't drink beer.....wine coolers....mixed drinks.....and so on ...but not beer.....

sorry man! i forgot corona...prolly cuz i cant believe anyone drinks that piss...
my every day budget beer (hell Im drinking one right now): Busch Light
my absolute favorite best tasting beer on the planet: Moosehead some other faves: Lowenbrau (500 years of brewing tradition) Heineken is good once in a while Molson XXX (nice asskicker) Rolling Rock (the ONLY beer I drink while watching my beloved Steelers) some beers I fucking HATE: coors/coors light (why is coors light like making love in a canoe? coz its fucking close to water.) most Miller products (MGD is ok, but otherwise...) Natural fucking Light (lemme drink 5 or 6 Mooseheads and I can piss better beer than this foul shit) Old Milwaukee (otherwise known as Old Swill) Gennesse Cream Ale (2 hours of next day diahrea per can just doesnt cut it in my book) I could go on and on, but Ill stop now so I can drink some beer mmmmmmmmm beer Beer is good food. Beer, it's not just for breakfast anymore. Beer, it's what's for dinner. Where's the Beer?!?! There are 4 basic food groups: Beer, Pizza, Steak and Beer. "Beer is proof that God Loves us and wants us to be happy." - attributed to Benjamin Franklin |
i love benjamin franklin...
Corona?! Piss?! Oh c'mon now..
I don't drink beer. I have never liked the taste of it.
Anyone near Pennsylvania should know Yeungling...I love it!!
Guinness would be my choice of those listed. Sam Adams, Boulevard (kansas city beer) are pretty good too.
Heineken or Carlsberg for me.
Budweiser = piss |
i voted for 'others' since there were no Australian beers listed.
Other - Alexander Keith's
looks like other is truly the king of beers.
In Michigan, Bells Two Hearted crushes. Failing that, I usually get Bass. Although, as someone previously pointed out, Warsteiner is nice on occasion. And for those schwag evenings, Natty Lite. |
When I'm drinking more than a hundred -- Ice, cold, refreshing Miller Lite.
When I'm just having a couple -- Black and Tan. |
Other:
Favorite: XX Lager To eat(No Pizza): Bohemia At the bar: Tecate, Miller(High Life), Victoria, Foster's, Amstel. |
Chose Coors even though I usually just drink Coors Light. I also really like Buffalo Gold from Rock Bottom but as a staple, its Coors Light.
Beer...the word itself is sweet music to my ears.
The beer I prefer to drink on a regular basis is Newcastle. I also enjoy Bass and the occasional tall Black and Tan. Other beers that I probably enjoy more, but don't want to spend the money on regularly would be Corsendonk - or as T.U.B. said any Belgium beer, for that matter; Sammy Smiths - Nut Brown, Oatmeal Stout or Winter Welome. There are so many that I love it would be a lie to say that this is a complete list. |
other: grain belt premium, summit extra pale ale (both minnesota beers)
Guiness, but only on tap and only certain pubs.
Other: Fat Tire Amber Ale
then my others arnt really beer Jager and Vodka |
sorry, but prefer Vanilla Vodka mixed with A&W Root Beer :D:D:D
I usually drink a Bud when I decide to knock back a few.
cheap:D, so i can get a LOT:cool:
newcastle!

http://www.shiner.com/grc/coldone.jpg This or this http://geokrueg.home.netcom.com/graphics/guinness.jpg Or of course this ;) http://www.bigskybrew.com/store_imag..._glass_400.jpg |
I voted Heineken but, my favorite has always been Corona. I'm drinking Rolling Rock right now.
very nice phred, very nice
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale in the fridge most of the time here... I do enjoy Sammy Smith's Nut Brown, too like G0dd3ss (thanks for the reminder!)
Pabst Blue Ribbon
Guiness and Newcastle are my number one favorites.
Sam Adams is alright. Icehouse, cheap and pretty good. |
Budweiser for football games and after mowing the lawn!
Moretti from Italy is a super great beer though and I also enjoy a nice cold Henry Weinharts from time to time. BUT wine rocks! |
Guiness or Alexander Keiths (IPA or honey brown) for me please
Corona
Tacate Dos XX's Kirin Saparo |
Corona! I'm getting to the point where I'd MUCh rather be in a Corona commercial than a Bud commercial. Guess I'm getting old.
