The rules of the marathon are pretty simple. You score a point for each White Castle hamburger you eat, so you keep eating until you can't anymore. Then you eat some more. You stop when you've had enough.

The reigning Kings of the White Castle are David R. Turner '02 and Erik Williamson '05 with their top scores of 32 points each. David earned his title in 1999 with a stunning upset of Chris "King for Life" Neidre '96. Erik took a share of the crown by tying David's record during the 2002 competition.

The team record is an artery-hardening 454 15/16 points, set by the 2003 team. They became the "Defenders of the Crown" by vanquishing the 2002 team.

Your information is certainly appreciated but this is perfectly normal behavior. The herd must be culled less we grow fat and weak. Those hamburgers deserved their fate. It is the natural cycle of life and rash indeed is he who would disturb it.

Dear Mr. GiantHamburger,

Is this really how you feel OR Do you secretly want people to eat white castle hamburgers because you think your superior to them????? I think you think your better then them!!! With your Big fluffy buns, your thick, hot steamy patty, and your crisp lettuce and oh so ripe tomatoes.....all put togeather with just the right amount of condiments. You just cant stand to hear people call white castle food hamburgers can you??? They have their little grey patties on thoes nasty little hard buns and that sad little pickle, and lets not forget the grease.... MY GOD MAN THE GREASE!!!!!! It sickens you to even be mentioned in the same breath with white castles dosen't it????? DOSEN"T IT!!!!!!!!?????

Which is more intoxicating, the sweet siren song of a delicious hamburger or praise from Minx? I prefer both every day I can get it for lunch as well as dinner and maybe even in the middle of the night when I sneak a look in the refrigerator for a snack. Minx is never there but sometimes there are leftovers.
