Still Using Dialup
It feels like that doesn't it?
What's worse is that High Speed connections are like crack. If you ever want to see some real withdrawl symptoms, just take away someones broadband connection and force them to go back to using Dial-up.
Happens to me everytime I go out of town and take my laptop.
Very few hotels have broadband yet. |
I have a hi-speed connection in my dorm room, but when I go home for the summer, I am forced to use dial-up for three months. I have the distinct feeling that it would be easier to quit crack than give up my hi-speed.
I have the same problem, hawkeye. What's worse is I go from 3Mbps to 26.4kbps. BAH!!!
Try it 24/7, gents. :|

Can't afford anything but Hilton, not all of them have it yet.
I use dialup. I hate it.
I'm stuck with dial up. My only other alternatives at this point are satellite (which I've heard very bad things about) and one way cable downloading (which only gives you a taste of real broadband). Since I upload quite a few pictures, the download side doesn't help me that much and I'd still need dial up anyway.
I just moved to TN, can't afford broadband right now and the dialup is depressing me!
Help! Please send funds to ...... this dialup sucks! |
if your using dial up...try quickconnect.com...it only $6.95 a month.
Man I was having broadband withdrawl before I got broadband. When the dsl guy gave me some bullshit as to why he couldnt install it, I got sooo mad I uppercutted the drywall in my bedroom. The hole is still there and its like a foot long.
........ Pills never helped. |
it's either broadband or no internet at all for me
